A day in the life of a Veterinary Nurse at Ashlea!
Emma is one of our lovely qualified nurses, she started as a student nurse in 2021 and we wanted to keep her when she qualified in 2023 so she became a permanent member of the team!
All of our nurses have a day they operate each week with a variety of operations to assist with. Emma spent the day with the very sweet Mila who was in to be neutered, Mila enjoyed lots of cuddles and love from Emma and student nurse Ally.
Here is a look at their day!

An extra day to show how much we love our pets? RESULT!
A cheeky pet treat? a new toy? extra strokes? How are you making use of our bonus day this year?

We love receiving feedback whether it's a message or a Google review, and even better to see Rocco is doing well ❤🐾
"Rocco says thanks to Laura, Stephen and the student vet nurse for helping him to feel better."

Meet the very beautiful Poppy!
She comes in every 4 weeks to have an injection to help with her Addisons disease.
Addison's or hypoadrenocorticism is a disease where the adrenal glands are attacked by Poppy's immune system and this stops them working as well as they should or could. Poppy's injections make her feels better and support her body to keep hold of the water she produces.
Poppy loves coming in to see us regularly mostly because of the biscuits and cuddles! How cute is she begging for a biscuit after her visit? 😍

This is Mouse who came in to see vet Kathryne last week. Mouse weighs only 8g! And unfortunately had a ear infection which was causing him to run round in circles.
He is doing much better after some treatment, but vet Laura caught this little video of Mouse in slow mo!!!
