⚜️ HAPPY NEW YEAR! ⚜️

Wishing everyone a happy new year and ofcourse my floofs all produced at Luxe puddy tats 🤍 what an eventful year 2024 had been! From licencing, two amazing little bundles, yuriks arrival and gaining double grand champions and a champion🥰🏆 the hard work all pays off 😅
We're forever greatful for the updates on how your kittens are getting on and love the interaction with our followers and continued support 🥰.
Recently I have felt I have to justify Siren in some sort of silly way but you know what yous have all been so accepting and quite frankly amazing! You are our people ♥️ il always give as much info as I can no matter the scenario that I can promise. Information and knowledge is everything and I fully support anyone who needs help whether you gain a kitten from me or elsewhere. I am far from all seeing all knowing but when communication is open and clear we can all learn something 😊.

As for 2025 🤔 our aim is to get our butt's to TICA shows 🏆💪
fingers crossed we are awarded 5 star cattery by the council around May. ( for those new to the page you can only obtain a 4 star rating in the first year of being licenced but we've already been told we're already working at a 5 star standard) still It will be nice to have it confirmed on paper 🙌
I have afew courses to complete this year in regards to breeding 🗒🖋
We welcome the absolute beauty Siren in hopefully March. 💙
And our first litter of the year is due ........(drum roll)......... VALENTINES DAY!🥰 I can't wait to see what OMEN and HILDA produce!🐱🐱

And MAMA ROO will be paired with YURIK at some point this year 🙌💪🥰 some black smoke babies!!!!!!!! Soo bloody exciting!! May fave colour 🙈😅 how many will I keep 🙈🙈

⚜️ ColourPoint⚜️

So to break it down short incase anyone doesn't understand ...it is believed (not set in stone) maine c**ns Cross bred with another breed in the 1960s. The earliest documentation of colour point maine c**ns was in 1976 or 1977. Unfortunately the kittens only survived several months (there is no information that states what happened to these kittens). So for those saying it's a cross breed it's a cross breed yes if you take the genetics right back it very possibly is, or possibly an odd act of nature? Abit like albino? Who knows could be either just like the maine c**n breed the colour point origin within the breed is unclear and not 100%. But again very likely another breed was put into the mix. We are now in 2024 that is alot of diluting but in the end some cats still carry the recessive gene. Put two together and there is a chance colour point is produced.
This was the case for Siren.

Also demands to see sirens pedigree 🙈🤣 she is full maine c**n her parents are both genetic carriers of the colour point. The only people I would have to show her pedigree to are Individuals running a cat show, a federation, or potential kitten owners. How rude of someone to pipe up out the blue making demands. You would never go upto someone and say show me your rental agreement, let me see your mortgage contract i dont believe you bought your house, let me see your children's birth certificates i dont believe you are the paternal parents 🙈🤣. If I say there is no mix breed in her pedigree then that is the truth. If you choose not to believe and think she is half ragdoll or siamese then that is upto you 😊

I've attached some information about colour point in the photos (they are screenshots).
This is just the beginning of information so please take a read and ask any questions.
I am open to hearing opinions but abuse and stupidity will not be tolerated 😊.
I appreciate there will be breeders who are strongly against Siren.
I appreciate there are show go-ers who are also against colour point maine c**ns.
But please remember do not come at me especially if you have shaded..ticked.. or have produced kittens of an unnatural colour to the maine c**n breed. Yes these colours are very much accepted now but by all means that does not mean it is the natural colour standard for the breed 🙄 these colours started somewhere... oh and also blue eyes!
Also I haven't stated whether she will be a breeding queen or if I will be taking her to show. At the moment we are focusing on our new girl arriving and joining our family 🥰

Everyone meet ⚜️ SIREN ⚜️ she is a beautiful colour point maine c**n!
No, she is not cross bred with a ragdoll she is full pedigree and registered 🥰
And will hopefully be joining us jan/Feb from Russia 🤍💙
Our new baby floof joining the family 🙌🥰
Now ..this beautiful girl has caused alot of controversy among the breeding community and I completely understand other people's opinions but... people can throw whatever they like my way because it will be met with knowledge. For those of you wondering why? Well, I'll explain like I always do because education is everything. But I'll save that for the next post because this one is to celebrate and announce this news 🥰
Siren was born 29th of Aug so is currently 3 months and 3 weeks old and if you look at those snapped whiskers I can tell she's full of nonsense and loves to play play play 🤣🥰 we are soo looking forward to her journey 'home' and will document just like we did with yurik.

A massive thank you to Ivan Ilandar 💙 she will have the best forever home with us 💙💙

⚜️ Winston ⚜️ So for those of you that dont know us, me and my husband are renovating our house...when i say renovate i mean full rewire and plastering etc (ourselves) making us exhausted and drained pretty much 24/7. so to get a message sat morning if we would like a visit, god we could've jumped for joy!! 🙌😁 I didn't get the best pics with lighting but to be honest we were too busy giving him treats and loves 😅🤣 definitely a lift to our day 🥰. Best part was watching Teddy (our youngest) oblivious to what kitten it was and when we told him it was Sogit his little face lit up like it was Christmas 🫶 Winston is doing fantastic still upto his same old tricks full of nonsense and splashing water whenever he can. He's still a sucker for an ear rub and looked very dapper after his groom 🥰 he's chatty like torvi and boy has he got that muzzle and chin from his dad 😳🙌🙌💙💙 🤣 the size he's going to get... he's only 9months at the end of this month it will be good to do a side by side pic of now and 2 years time 😁 Thanks again Shaun Dwarfy Mclaughlin & Emma Louise McLaughlin & Jay McLaughlin 💙
