Reeva is great with the farrier, to load, bath and has great stable manners. She came to us at the end of May beginning of June, she was a green horse when she came and since then we have put a lot of work into her. She will stand at the mounting block until asked to move, she is snaffle mouthed with a very soft mouth, whilst she will school in our small indoor, she was made for hacking. When ever she is out, her ears are forward and her head is up, she is not strong what so ever.

Feedback I get from people who try these horses and those who decide to take them tell me: "They are not as wide as they look" and "they are like riding in an arm chair."

Please do not be put off by her age, she really does have the mind of a horse twice her age, Reeva has been ridden by a fourteen year old novice rider and even my seven year old Grand daughter sits on her back whilst I prepare Reeva's stable.

Henry is a Jutland Horse, which is a Danish draught horse. I would describe Henry as a happy hacker, he has hacked out with us almost everyday and so far has not presented any issues. He is great with traffic both big and small as well as farm traffic, as we live next to a working farm.

He is happy to walk and trot, we have not asked anything more than this from him. He is currently being hacked out by a fourteen year old novice. Have not had him out in company but knowing this mans attitude I can not imagine him being an issue.

He has just had his feet trimmed and is currently bare foot, he stood well for the farrier, he is great in the stable/on the ground, stands at the mounting block, will go off your leg or off you voice, he is good to load and easy to catch in the field.

Flynn is just an honest horse he is great in traffic, has great stable manners, was previously ridden by a fourteen year old (who got a bit clipper happy) he will happily school away but he loves to hack out, he has hacked out in company and alone with no issues.

He is fine with heavy traffic and even farm vehicles, if you want a relaxing ride on a loose rein he will switch off and plod along, if you want a bit more he will give it and will happily trot for miles.

This sweet girl has been broken by us she hacks out by herself, we have not had the opportunity to hack her out in company but I do not think that it would trouble her. She stands at the mounting block and does not move until instructed so. She walks, trots and has just started to canter this week.

So far she has shown no signs of being bothered by traffic or anything on the roads. E.G. traffic signs, white lines, manholes/drains or even the large speed zones that are painted on the roads.
Her stable manners are excellent, stands to be caught in her stable she leads out to the water trough for a drink and will stand still tied up whilst her stable is made ready. There are no issues when tacking her up, she takes her bridle and saddle without moving. She has made some big improvements lately and I am now happier with her to say that I think she would do a confident novice.

CUMBRIA BASED - as I get a lot of people who seem to think we are at the far side of the world and don't want travel to view.
She is reasonably priced and unlike other adverts I see, her price will stay the same no matter how much work we put into her. Because whether we sell her quick or not, she has to be worked, she has to be trained.

She is a fully registered Ardenne mare, she is broken to ride only and does it very well. She is very good on the ground, good for the farrier and we had her teeth done on 19/7/23.

Tess will stand at the mounting block, she goes off the leg, she is good in traffic and enjoys being out and about.

Peanut is broken to ride only, she is still a little green especially with hacking out but shows no issues doing it. She is very easy to work with and is happy to do anything you ask of her with no fuss.

She stands at the mounting block, and will not move until told do so. She had a lovely moment certainly for a big horse.

She has been ridden by my riders thirteen year old niece, and a friends fourteen year old who was just here for a visit.

She will ride inside and out just as happy with one as she is the other. Is use to seeing farm traffic, as we live right next to a working farm, and even is she wasn't she is a very quick learner, who by the next day would act as if she has seen it for ten years.

Stable wise she is brilliant, great manners in the stable, on the halter, loads, and most importantly for these heavy horses she is great with the farrier. (Your farrier will thank you for this horse)

Blasa is a fully registered Swedish Ardennes, she has been with us just over a month and has presented no problems or challenges with us so far.

She is broken to ride only, has shown no fear of traffic so far - and we live right next door to a working farm. She will stand at the mounting block and will go off your leg or your voice, she is a really clever laid back horse. Has been ridden indoors by a beginner thirteen year old, hacks out alone. Have not had the opportunity to have her out in company, so can not say for certain what she is like with others, but knowing her, I do no think it will trouble her.

She has had her feet done and stood brilliantly for the farrier even with getting her very first pair of fronts on. She really is a very sweet girl who really likes getting her daily "scratches" from our rider.

Very clean four seater carriage. Should fit 12hh to a 13.3hh. Some small tears in the rear back rests, just from use. Rear brakes only but are working. Comes with shafts and a centre pole and a full set of spare wheels and tyres which appear to never have been used.

No chips or damages to the paint work that I can find.

This chap is a five year old horse with a ten year old brain. He loves to hack out, he is happy to work in the school but if you want his best, hack him out. Very good in traffic, he is not strong or spooky (but he is very nosey.) He has a very laid back and playful nature, he likes to play with plastic bags or anything he can get hold of really.

Brilliant with the farrier, brilliant to load a true example of a happy hacker.

Lets start off with the elephant in the room, Yes he is 18 years old. For those of you consider this to old for you, thank you for viewing the advert, there is no need for you to read any further. Those of you who see age as just a number, please read on.

This gentle big boy stands at 16.1HH, he is broken to ride and drive and has done plenty of both, as you can see in the last images which were taken back in the summer. I have just had him newly shod this week, where he stood better than a statue.

If you are interested you have to come and see him, you will not be disappointed.

These lovely little donkeys are looking for a new family, ideally together. They are brothers (same father) and have lived together all their lives.
I originally sold these boys to the home I got them back from, to be used as pets in their pets corner at their riding school. They were to be a distraction for the younger children who were not old enough to take riding lessons yet.
However, the pet corner has grown to include five Alpaca's, as such these boys lost their jobs and have been made redundant, so back to me (happily) they came.
They are very friendly donkeys and are very good to lead as you can see from the photos I was able to lead both at the same time from the same lead rope.
If you can give them a good home, then please do message in. As they are the sweetest little donkeys.

She is the friendliest donkey I think I have ever had. She will put her head under your arm so that you stroke her she even rests her head onto your back if you stand still.
