Good morning everyone.

We are sorry to hear of the imminent closure of another local kennel.

As I’m sure you are all aware, there is already a lack of kennel availability in the area, and while we do what we can to support the needs of dog owners, we aren’t a large business.

Regulars - please get your 2025 dates in as soon as possible, to give me an idea of what spaces we might have available for a limited number of new customers.

Potential new customers - please note that we specialise in hound and gundog types (and their crosses), and accept very few new dogs outwith these breed groups. It’s nothing personal, we find our environment and routine suits these dogs best, and we want everyone to have the best experience with us.

Thank you for your understanding, and I hope everyone is able to find a suitable kennel for their dogs.

You wouldn’t think it was Christmas, with the oddly warm weather out there!

We would like to thank each and every one of our customers for your support this year. We couldn’t do it without you, and we hope to see you again soon!

We’ve had to say goodbye to some very loved furry friends this year, and it never gets any easier. We may only share a small piece of their lives, but they become part of our family.

We hope Santa Paws brings you everything you’re hoping for tomorrow, and our Christmas Campers will be tucking into turkey treats.

We’ll see you in the new year!

Busy busy busy! There’s a strange yellow thing in the sky, and everyone is dreaming of long summer days on the beach.

As many of you will have seen, a number of local kennels have closed their doors in the last year. This means spaces are even harder to find for everyone.

As it stands, we have extremely limited availability between now and September 2024 (crazy, isn’t it?!).

If you want to make an enquiry, please include the exact dates you need (drop off and collection), and the breed of your dog (we have a variety of kennels, and this will help us check to see if we have the right space to get you in).

Just as we thought we’d successfully weathered the storm…

We currently have no phone line (EE signal seems to be out), and limited internet.

If you’re wondering why we haven’t got back to you, or replied to your emails, it’s because we physically can’t at the moment.

We’re hoping service will return soon, but please bear with us.

Just a quick note to say that we are filling up quite quickly this year (thank you organised people!).

February half term is fully booked

We have some summer dates already fully booked - please don’t assume you’ll be able to just call and get a space 🤐 Speak with us first to confirm availability if you can.

Finally, we’d like to thank all of you for your support over the last (almost) three years since we took over at Hesket. We love meeting all of your furry friends, and building relationships with them throughout their stay.
