Following almost 30 years involved in animal rescue and rehoming I have taken the decision to close down Kilngate small animal rescue over the last year I stopped taking animals in and have successfully found homes for every adoptable cat, rabbit , poultry etc . There are no more animals left to be adopted .
I would like to thanks everyone involved in supporting my time in rescue over the years and especially all the adopters who have given fantastic homes to the animals in rescue .
The last few cockerels , cat of questionable character and 2 feral guinea pigs will stay on with me for as long as needed.
If you need support with your pets please contact one of the rescues local to Cumbria .

Update …. A new home has been found for these girls ………….

2 female neutered cats returning to care after a change in family’s circumstances. Would be great to find them a new home to go to without needing to return to Kilngate .
Around 5-6 years old Tortoiseshell sisters .

Update …….. gone ………………….

Free to anyone who can repair and make use of it .
Suitable for , poultry , small dog , rabbits/ guinea pigs/ ferrets .
Roof is well and truly Rotten and will need replaced. The base in the housing area is probably gone too. However the sides are solid Around 10’ in length
Collection only and you will need to dismantle
