Doggies n Moggies Retreat is a luxury cattery, small pet boarding & doggy daycare centre situated in the beautiful Eden countryside between Carlisle and Penrith. We have comfy rooms and lots of open space to walk dogs and cosy cat rooms to make your pets feel at home. During their stay your doggies n moggies will be kept company by Rachael, the owner of the retreat, Rachael was previously a registered veterinary nurse with over a decade of experience working with animals.

Rabbits are very inquisitive and playful pets.

We are more than happy to set our bunny guests’ rooms up as close to how they are at home as possible with their own toys and treats to keep them happy and mentally & physically stimulated during their stay.
(As demonstrated by Willow, Frankie & Grayson!)
Please feel free to bring anything you’d like to from home that they enjoy or alternatively our own toys and food puzzles can be provided.

Our Story

Doggies n Moggies Retreat is a luxury boarding kennels and cattery situated in the beautiful Eden countryside between Carlisle and Penrith. We have comfy dog rooms and cosy cat rooms to make your pets feel at home. During their stay your doggies n moggies will be kept company by Rachael, the owner of the retreat. Rachael was previously a veterinary nurse with over a decade of experience working with animals.

Doggies n Moggies Retreat opened in 2017 to provide safe, comfortable boarding for dogs, cats and small furries. We wanted to make our facilities less like a kennel, and more of a home from home for your much loved pets, with lots of one-to-one time to help them settle in during their holiday.
