This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during August 2025.
We currently have 26 dogs in our care, 7 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had two flights on 24 and 27 August for a total of 5 dogs all of which went into UK foster and one of them has now been adopted. We currently have 8 dogs in UK foster 2 of whom are reserved. Two other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during August.
We have 1 flight 28 Sept and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £150 for 1 pointer in the care of another Cyprus based rescue organisation. We also donated £250 to Take Away The Tears to help towards the cost of sending pallets of donated goods to Cyprus.
We received £389 from Jan's bonus ball, £75 from Nicola Thain, £24.16 from PayPal Giving Fund, £403.35 from Easyfundraising, £4753.15 from the Apollo summer auction, £745 from Nicola's summer fundraiser, £376 from the Mollie's pets keepsakes raffle, £25 from meds donated by Jacqui McCormack, £100 from Amanda Stewart and £40 in general donations.
The monthly winner of our Pay it forward event who wins a Mollies pet keepsakes pointer door stop commission will be announced shortly.
Our 2026 calendar and a selection of Christmas cards will be available to pre order shortly and the orders will be posted out in October.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during July 2025.
We currently have 26 dogs in our care, 2 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 20 July for 8 dogs, 1 of which had a home in place and 7 went into UK foster. Four of those dogs have now been adopted and one is reserved subject to home check. We currently have 6 dogs in UK foster 5 of whom are still available. One other dog in UK foster was rehomed during July.
We have 2 flights in August on the 24th and 27th and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on them.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus kennel bill the total amount of which was 10537.50 euros.
We have arranged with the help of Take Away The Tears for approx 200 donated items inc dog coats, leads, collars, wormers, tick and flea treatments etc to be sent out to Cyprus where they will be distributed to various rescue groups.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £100 for 1 pointer in the care of another Cyprus based rescue organisation. We also donated £100 to Take Away The Tears, and £180 to Little Ranch Rescue Cyprus to purchase a new water tank.
We received £265 from Carol Parsons plant sale, £397 from Jan's Bonus ball, £40 from Kerry Booth, £30 from Becky Adamson and £20 in general donations.
The Apollo summer auction ended in July and the total amount raised will be announced in next months summary. Our annual photo competition winners will also be announced in August. All the winning entries will feature in our 2026 calendar which will go on sale early October along with a selection of Christmas cards.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during June 2025.
We currently have 29 dogs in our care, 1 of which is reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 15 June for 8 dogs, 5 of which had homes in place and 3 went into UK foster and they are all still available. We currently have 4 dogs in UK foster all of which are still available. Two other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during June.
Our next flight is 20 July and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet bill the total amount of which was 4448 euros.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and 490 euros for 3 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.
We received £320 from Graeme Blenkiron's birthday fundraiser, £270 from Jan's Bonus ball, £513 from Nicola's fathers day event, £103.35 from PayPal giving fund, £50 from Camille de Kok, £50 from Michelle Randall and £40 in general donations.
Our annual photo competition ends on 6 July and the winning entries will feature in our 2026 calendar which will go on sale early October along with a selection of Christmas cards.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during May 2025.
We currently have 31 dogs in our care, 5 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 4 May for 10 dogs, 7 of which had homes in place and 3 went into UK foster and they have all now been rehomed. We currently have 4 dogs in UK foster all of which are still available.
Our next flight is 15 June and 8 dogs will be travelling on it, 5 have homes in place and 3 are going into foster.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus kennel and vet bill the total amount of which was 16061.50 euros. We also paid a UK courier bill of £250.
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £300 for 1 pointer in the care of another Cyprus based rescue organisation. We also donated a bag of dog food value £78 as a prize for another rescue organisations auction.
We received £278.86 from Paypal Giving Fund, £388 from Jan's Bonus ball, £40 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £40 from Liz Robsons event, £352.07 from Easyfundraising, £656 from Nicola's raffle, £327 from Nicola's birthday fundraiser, £20 from Tania Long, £550 from the photo competition category sponsors, and £20 in general donations.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during April 2025.
We currently have 34 dogs in our care, 10 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We have one flight on 4 May for 10 dogs, 7 of which have homes in place and 3 are going into UK foster. 1 dog in Uk foster was rehomed in April and one dog we originally rehomed in 2024 became available again and he has also been rehomed. We currently have 4 dogs in UK foster 2 of which are still available.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vets bill the total amount of which was 3641 euros. We also paid a Uk vet bill of £55
We donated £250 to Mission spay the strays in Nicosia, and £200 for 2 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations. We also donated £100 to purchase water bowls for the Gonyeli shelter.
We received £3265 from the Apollo mega spring raffle, £497 from Jan's Bonus ball, £5 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £200 from Caron Bunclark sovereign estates promotion, £200 from Tony & Michelle St John, £200 from Olivia Sondhi, £125 from Lottie Long Legs, and £30 in general donations.
Our annual photo competition will begin shortly and the winning entries will feature in our 2026 calendar which will go on sale early October along with a selection of Christmas cards.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during March 2025.
We currently have 34 dogs in our care, 3 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 28 March for 9 dogs, 4 of which had homes in place and 5 went into UK foster. 1 of those has now been rehomed and the other 4 are still available. We currently have 5 dogs in UK foster all of which are still available. 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during March.
The next flight will be on 4 May and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus kennel and vets bill the total amount of which was 12,955.85 euros.
We donated £250 to the North Cyprus street dog neutering programme, and £600 for 5 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations. We also donated £250 to the Mission spay the strays in Nicosia and we will be supporting them with a donation every month.
We received £1090 from Nicola's mothers day raffle, £342 from Jan's Bonus ball, £1000 from a group member who wishes to remain anonymous, £40 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £81.29 from PayPal Giving Fund, £50 from Jill Larcombe, £100 from Sue Hebb in memory of her brother who sadly passed away recently, £600 from Jacqui McCormack via her employers charity donation scheme, £20 from Louise Berger and £20 in general donations.

With effect from Monday 24 March our superfood 65 range will be available to buy in the 15kg VAT free working dog bag size. It is currently sold in 12kg bags which attract VAT. This brings it in line with our other two ranges, grain free and super premium which are all sold in the 15kg VAT free working dog bags. It's great news as the 15kg bags which will be the same price as the current 12kg bags.

We had one flight on 23 February for 8 dogs, 6 of which had homes in place and 2 went into UK foster. 1 of those has now been rehomed and the other is currently reserved subject to home check. We currently have 3 dogs in UK foster two of whom are reserved. 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during February.
The next flight will be on 23 March and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.

We had one flight on 12 January for 11 dogs, 4 of which had homes in place and 7 went into UK foster. 4 of those have now been rehomed and 2 currently reserved. We currently have 1 dog in UK foster that is still available. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during January.
The next flight will be on 23 February and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet bill the total amount of which was 4113.50 euros. We also paid a UK vet fee of £232.77.
We donated £250 to the North Cyprus street dog neutering programme, and £350 for 2 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.
We received £1345.50 from the save a penny save a life fundraiser, £327 from Jan's Bonus ball, £40 from Annabel Gunn's quilt sales, £100 from Liz Veasey, £145 from Lottie Long Legs, £25 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, and £60 in general donations.

This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during December 2024.
We currently have 30 dogs in our care, 6 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 1st December for 3 dogs, 2 of which had homes in place and 1 went into UK foster and she has now been rehomed. We currently have 1 dog in UK foster and he is still available. 3 other dogs in Uk foster were rehomed during December.
The next flight will be on 12 January for 11 dogs, 4 of whom have homes in place and 7 are going into foster homes.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet bill the total amount of which was 2041 euros. We also paid a UK courier fee of £95.
We donated £250 to the North Cyprus street dog neutering programme, £150 for 1 pointer in the care of another Cyprus based rescue organisation, £500 to GWP Rescue Cyprus, £250 to Saving Pound Dogs Cyprus, £250 to Paws for homes foundation, £500 to Little Ranch Rescue/Gonyeli shelter, £500 to Nicosia Dog Shelter, £200 to Troulloi Pound Dogs, £250 to Anne Parsons, and £250 to Freedom Sanctuary.
We received £1501 from Nicola’s fundraising events, £399 from Jan’s Bonus Ball fundraisers, £5510 from the sale of our 2025 calendar and Christmas cards, £146 from Paula Fahy Bonio wreath sales, £399 from Tracy's birthday fundraiser, £100 from John Byron, £10 from Insa Winkelbrandt, £50 from Stephen Robson, £40 from Jennifer Smith, £100 from Nick Reed, £20 from Caroline Ludkin, £10 from Lisa Cook, £25 from Linda Doyle, £500 from Helen Turnbull-Smith, £35 from Camille de Kok, £400 from Caron Bunclark Sovereign Estates promotion and £30 in general donations.
We also received a volume credit payment of £3007.50 from the Apollo's Angels dog food manufacturers for our total sales of just over 60 tonnes during 2024. This payment is in addition to our normal profit on dog food sales. The volume credit promotion will also be in place during 2025.

Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 151 new members joined and there were a total of 17276 posts, comments and reactions during December.

During 2024 we rehomed 65 dogs, donated £4113 to help 32 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups, donated £2500 to the North Cyprus street dog neutering programme, and also donated £5025 to a number of Cyprus rescue groups.

We would like to thank everyone for all their help and support during 2024.
