It was off to the beach at Allonby
It was off to the beach at Allonby for Maggie, Baloo, Alby, Rufus and Benny. It was a beautiful winters day, very cold but the sun shone through out. Dogs had a wonderful time exploring the beach
A lovely way to end the week with a walk on Allonby beach. Maggie was joined by Baloo, Alby and Dougie. I know I’ve said it before but I really don’t understand why this huge track isn’t used by more people, it’s fantastic for the dogs to run around.
Maggie was joined by Baloo, Albie, Dougie and Benny. We headed out West for one of our occasional walks on Allonby beach. As usual, we had this massive area more or less to ourselves. Boy, didn’t the dogs make the most of it. A beautiful day at the seaside.
A change from the fells again today for Maggie, Halle, Indy, Ernie, Murphy and Zaba. Out to Allonby where we walked along the sea shore to Maryport and back. A lovely day by the sea.
Couple of videos for todays walk. Given the hot weather Maggie, Lexi, Jazz, Eric, Murphy and Zaba had a lovely walk around Derwent Water. It’s a fair old time since we did this and you forget how beautiful a walk it is. The videos capture what we were doing for most of the day.
We have walked in hotter weather before but it’s fair to say that all the guys, including me, are getting older and tend to feel the heat a bit more. In addition, every where is so dry that a lot of sources of water have dried up, whether streams or small tarns. Thursdays walk it likely to be similar in nature.
