The other side to ECA Dressage 🧪👩🏻‍🔬 …

Today marks a little special occasion! It is 3 years ago today that I started my graduate job following university. As a lot of my regular clients and owners know alongside teaching, competing and having the yard I also have my ‘adult’ job working in pharmaceutical research. I was very lucky to have a HUGE career development at the end of last year changing positions from a clinic based CTA/Assistant Psychologist to an Associate Medical Writer. I am loving every minute of my new role, yes it has shown its challenges but academically it is an area that I have always had an interest in. With all of this writing I feel like I have gone back to university. Thank goodness I still have plenty of riding and teaching to keep me sane! 🙈

I am beyond grateful to all of the people close to me who help endless amounts allowing me to balance a career in horses alongside an academic career too 🦄🧫

Top tips to avoid an emergency Christmas call out

The festive season can bring lots of changes, but keeping your horse's routine normal can help prevent emergency vet visits! Here are a few tips to keep your horse happy and healthy during the holidays:

Stick to their regular routine as much as possible
Ensure they stay hydrated
Feed according to their current activity level (gradually change your horse’s diet)
Carefully check over your horse every day

Keep the holidays merry and stress-free for you and your horse!
