If you've not had a look at Jillian Scott The Clipper Queens page it's well worth a look and a vote for her would be well deserved.

I had no intention of running for this again..
But my wee pal Hannah over on the CPL group has started the ball rolling to put me forward for Equestrian Business Awards Groom Of The Year 2025.

Thinking back to my win in 2022 and it was such a hard year, recovering financially from lockdown, then the knee injury that kept me on crutches for months just as I was getting back on my feet, buggered everything again!
Then 2023 we had althe appendix gate which led to my EDS diagnosis.
2024 was a bit better. No major injuries!
I'm collecting chronic illnesses like some sort of hoarder tho and truth is, I duno how many more years of this I've got in me... but I'm doing ok atm.. and I'd like another bash at standing on that stage... without crutches this time! And not be doped up on pain killers n give a decent speech lol 😆

Jillian Scott The Clipper Queen came in for a chat with us, and for some lunch. Covered some tips on re-assembling A5 Blades and a chat about clippers in general. Great feedback on the KMC+. Jillian picked up a few bits and pieces although forgot her hand cream so if she has flaky hands in her posts that's why.

Great catch up and look in again when your in the area.

Oh and I was looking up something for Jillian, that's why I'm on my phone in the video, honest.

Well Done The Groom Team Scotland got taken a bit by surprise when Colin Taylor asked for a few words. Few indeed is what he got.

Thanks for having us and well done to the organisers and helpers and everyone one involved in making this the success it was.

I'm pleased we were able to provide some support along with everyone one else who provided sponsorship and attended with a trade stand. I did try and come round to say hello, however, only managed a brief walk round and never got to speak to anyone much. Sorry.

Lastly thanks to all the competitors and everyone that attended. I hope you all had a great time, enjoy your purchases and got some freebies.
