✨Did you know that if you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away?
Although pacemakers cannot be used for another human, they can help dogs with heart problems and potentially save their lives. You can arrange for the pacemaker to be sent to a vet of your choice.
Many pacemakers are simply thrown away, and dogs may die because people do not know about this option.
Donating the pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make a crucial difference in affording life-saving treatment.

🎆🐾 Nae Fireworks Night is back! 🐾🎆

Join us on Tuesday 5th November where we will be attending Whitelee Windfarm for their annual Nae fireworks night! It's a peaceful evening, perfect for dog owners looking to escape the fireworks. Enjoy a quiet walk in the company of other dog lovers, Whitelee's team does their best to keep the area firework-free (although they can’t guarantee it!). You will find our stall there and you can catch up with our team with all things SSPCA, our team are there for any advice or information you may need! 🙌

🍰☕ Visitor Centre will be open from 6-9pm for hot drinks and cake. Bring your reusable cup for a discount and help reduce waste!

Day out to the beach at the weekend. The flap-o-meters were going mad but we still got our ice cream. The human had to buy us them as we legged it from the shore to the ice cream place and stood at the window with strangers til we got what we wanted. It was ok though, cos the human was freezing and wanted coffee anyway. We kept a watchful eye for the possibility of a second ice cream but we were unfortunate. 🐾

We’ve been walking the lovely Molly every week since Jan and what a lovely big girl she’s growing into 🥰 lots of long line, solo walks and a trip to the dog fields for some off-lead work 🐾 we have some availability for one to one walks currently so get in touch 🐾
