Our next and final Golden Oldie is Tally. She is also 27 years old and has been at the centre since she was 9 yrs old. She is now fully retired and enjoying the buckets and stabling like the other 7 oldies. She used to be very speedy so we only used her on the lead rein until her later slower years. Always loves pulling faces! We still have more in their 20s but these are the oldest we have and may they enjoy the rest of their time at Marros.

Mini Rosie is this week's Golden Oldie. Mini Rosie is 27 years old and has been at Marros for many years. She is a great pony both on and off the lead rein. She is now semi retired doing light work and loves to come in for a bucket!

This week's Goldie Oldie is Tarnie. She is now fully retired after many years of being the main es**rt horse on the Beach Rides. She is 28 years old and has appeared several times on TV adverts and magazine covers as well as having a go at horse boarding and even pulled a surf board in the sea and appeared on Japanese TV! She still adores a good cuddle and a bucket!

Week 5 of the Golden Oldies - This week is Beau. She is 30 years old and is now fully retired. She has been one of the best ponies for the school and has been here since we started here and 2002 and even before we were here with the previous owners. Whenever we did any games she used to fly!! So many children have ridden Beau over the years.

Golden Oldies Week 4 - The spotlight is on Dylan this week. He is 30 yrs old and still doing some light work. He is still as cheeky as he always has been. He has been here since he was 6 months old when Melissa used to own him. I wouldn't like to estimate how many younger children have ridden Dylan. A firm favourite of many!

Sorry - a bit late this week with half term! This week we have Zebedee in the spotlight. He is 32 years old he is semi retired doing some light work. He loves to be ridden and is still a bit speedy. He came here in 2006 and has always been a speedy, fun to ride pony.

Goldie Oldies Week 2. This week we are featuring Biscuit. 33 years old and is retired. He is Lotti's first pony who came with us to Wales in 2002. He was quite a speedy chap when Lotti was riding him but he slowed down and we were able to take to do pony rides at various events as well as teaching younger children to ride on the lead rein. Biscuit and Juno will always been seen together and they don't like to be apart for long. Both of them are very good at being uncles for any young horses especially foals. Roisin being the latest. They would rather be out at night supervising her than being in their stables at night at the moment!
