"I groom all dogs with love, I love dogs and I love grooming them." "My aim is to get your dog looking and feeling its best as stress free as possible." Prices - Full Grooms include: -

Consultation and maintenance advice. Visual basic

health check. Nail trimming, ear and eye cleaning. Deep double wash and conditioning. Use of natural quality products specific to dog's coat type and needs. Clipping, Cutting & styling to breed standard or request. De-shedding and undercoat removal if applicable. Introduction sessions for puppies. Extra small dogs - from £40 (e.g. Yorkie, mini breeds etc…)

Small dogs - from £45 (e.g. Westie, Shih Tzu etc…)

Medium small dogs - from £50( e.g. Cockapoo, medium Poodle etc…)

Short coated dogs - from £30 (e.g. Pug, French Bulldog etc…)

These prices are a basic guideline and vary for each dog depending on size, condition, temperament, needs and grooming schedules. A more precise quote cannot be given until I have seen the dog and know your requests. The main services that arise that can be billed as additional expenses are, hand stripping, shave downs, de-matting, flea treatment, extreme conditions and extra handling skills or time delays due to restlessness or temperament issues. Please note I work under the animal welfare act, I only shave down badly matted dogs.

Hello, hope you’ve all had a good summer! Can’t believe autumn is here already. As usual it’s been a busy time here at Abbot Hall Dog Grooming and I’m always very grateful to all my regulars for keeping it so. 😁💕🙏

I wanted to share this photo of the adorable Chester 😍… He waits in this bed while I groom his brother and he always uses it like an arm chair 😆 and he sits in it like this which I find so cute. 🥰 🐾

All is well here at Abbot Hall Dog Grooming, it’s been a busy summer and fully booked through Autumn and Christmas till the new year.🍁🎄

I am currently at my maximum capacity and therefore not able to take on new customers for the foreseeable future. When I do I will have to abide strictly by my no more than 30 pounds ( 13.5 kilos ) in weight dogs due to physical problems ( dodgy elbows 😅 )… Thank you for your understanding. ☺️

A lovely happy story, 3 different rescue pups gone to the same loving family (bless them) and they are inseparable. They all want to be together all the time including in the bath and on the table if possible 😂… The cream coloured little girl is the last arrival so she came in to just get to know me and the salon first but she still wanted to join in and be part of it all 😂… They now have wonderful parents and get the very best of everything 👍🏼🥰… plus they make the cutest trio 😍💕

Hi everyone, long time not posted, we are just very busy but still here. 😁👍🏼

Today Teddy the Bedlington came in for his groom and since it was only the other day someone asked me where the unusual standard Bedlington head style came from originally, I thought I would share the information here for if any one else has ever wondered the same. 🐾

Here a simple answer from an online dog breed article…. 😊

“Bedlingtons were bred to rid aggressive vermin like badgers, weasels, polecats, rats and martens. The “fall” on the dog’s head served to protect the dogs’ eyes and ears from the sharp teeth of its prey. It’s believed that the ear tassels acted as decoys since to grab one was to get a mouthful of fuzz.”

I will add that the cheeks and sides and under muzzle were shaved sort to reach in small low spaces with out getting tangled and caught up in brambles etc…

16 week old Bella did a great job at her 2nd grooming introduction/training/practice session today 🥰… They have also been practicing at home and you can tell 👍🏼… So worth it, I love witnessing how they progress and get more use to everything, more relaxed each time... So chuffed with puppy Ziggy today 😃💕… Her second visit and we did a full groom. The first time she was very nervous especially with the dryer but having been before and practicing at home she was great today and I was amazed at what a good girl she was on the table 👌.
