Thornbrook Barn Caravan Site and The Lodges at Thornbrook

Many of our guests visit Malham and the attractions there. The drive to Malham via Upper Settle is stunning (around 18 miles). Today we did the lovely 5 miles Malham Circular walk taking in Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Janets Foss. The walk up the side of the cove ascends up 412 steps with great view from the top from the limestone pavement. We then enjoyed a great lunch and Christmas Shopping Town End Farm Shop. https://www.facebook.com/TownEndFarmShop

We are now getting the site ready and Christmassy for this next Thursday when we re-open for a couple of weeks.

We ventured into Ribblesdale today and did a lovely circular walk from Stainforth taking in Winskill, Catrigg Force and Goat Scar Lane.

The Touring Site is now fully booked for the 29th December. We have a couple of Serviced pitches currently available for the 30th December 3nts. Book Soon!

We close this Sunday 3rd November and reopen for a couple of weeks from the 19th December - 2nd January.
There are still some Touring Pitches available for this weekend. The Lodges are fully booked.

We are fully booked for this weekend and have six weeks remaining of the 2024 season - we close on Sunday 3rd November. Pitches currently available for the remaining weekends.

Yesterday evening we enjoyed a circular walk via the Ingleborough Trail returning via Clapham Tunnels, a great walk on a lovely warm night. A dog friendly walk.

We have just completed setting up a Celebration Package for a birthday weekend for one our guests staying in Herdy's Hut.

If you are staying with us from the 25th May until the 31st May then the Gaping Ghyll Winch is worth experiencing.....get there early though! The walk from Clapham may take 1.5hrs depending on your fitness.
