The Barracks Canine Centre are once again hosts for a collaboration of local businesses coming together to give you a mini Christmas Market.

We are excited to have a few businesses get together for the pop up shop this Sunday 2nd Oct, doors open at 11am.
Barkbrigade will have a selection of anco natural chews, kanine konnections will be there if you fancy chatting canine massage or would like a free muscular check but will also have a small stock of harnesses long lines and hotter dog jumpers, ferrypaws will be be bringing a wide selection of doggy goodies, fluffmuffins will be offering drop in nail trims and grooming advice, and collar and fleece who do the most beautiful collars.

Barkbrigade's next workshop, is going to be puppy socialisation,
It is a subject that us trainers feel really strongly about as the word socialisation can get misinterpreted. Socialisation is primarily about creating as many varied, positive, safe and enjoyable experiences, for your puppy. Within this workshop we will help you create a healthier and happy puppy, which will be easier to train, consequently easier to live with.

we have had a few queries about coats this last couple of days, probably due to the lovely weather earlier this week 🥶 There are two choices really you can try to keep your dog clean and dry or you can dry them after the fact 😂. We can help with the drying side of things right now as we have classic style Ruff and Tumble drying coats in small, medium, medium/large, large and extra large in a few different colours. very limited stock available so message us with the length of your dog (collar - top of the tail) and we can let you know the size that would be suitable and the colour we have. We also have drying mits for those that maybe have a pup that is going to grow and if you would like to have a size or style we dont have in stock at the moment then please just let us know and we can arrange for it to be shipped direct to you.

We are putting our heads together and will post about the keeping dry side of things very soon 😊

Recently we had an enquiry about indestructible dog toys, is it actually possible that they exist? Well after a bit of research a couple of possibilities came to light. One of them is a toy brand from California in the USA called Goughnut. We had to check these guys out of course so after reviewing all the info not only do they say the toys are indestructible, they also bounce, float and come in various sizes, shapes and weights. To cap it all off they actually guarantee if your dog manages to chew to the red core of their toys you will get it replaced for the princely sum of £2.95 P&P, amazing! We have a small stock of these available to purchase now just drop us a message and we can let you know what we have available and the prices. This company are all about the safety of your dog especially if they are a full on chewer. Mr Chester here got his Maxx Pro50 Stick today and he is super happy with it! Chew safe Chester🥰
