Champs 24
Firstly massive thanks and appreciation to the British Flyball Association Committee, Judges, Lights Gurus, Ring Parties, Officials, Crew and anyone in-between for a fantastic championship.
Star Paws Flyball Team took 3 open teams, Foundation pair and young members teams with a fast dog lame a pre reshuffle was required affecting all open teams. However, dogs did not disappoint and handlers not far behind.
Foundation Pair Caelub and Archie secured a very well deserved 4th.
Chase also a 3rd in young members singles.
Clones Maebel, Mindy. Ruby, Lucie and Storm a 3rd in division. Shaky start but crosses improved and ran hearts out.
Jedi Fire, Dexter, Bertie, Bonnie and Willow also a 3rd in division. Fire makes me sweat but her and teammates were pretty solid.
Star Paws ginger ninjas really pulled tines and broke out. Last race on day despite heat Ivvie pulled 3.91, Noah 3.89, Rogue 4.08 and Chase 4.2. Some PB's and being YKC team mostly for Crufts much excitement had as they continued to BO. See you next year slicker lol xx

WOW what a amazing weekend!! Thank you to all the teams attending, measuring officials, judges, ring party and mostly our teamies for making the best weekend ever. So much fun, giggles and smooth ran show at a fantastic venue and boy did the sunshine make an appearance like a cherry on the top!! We appreciate all the efforts, thanks, and positive comments had here at Star Paws! See you at Champs and then of course back to us outdoors in Errol! Good Luck xx

So this weekend Star Paws went on tour to Thirsk and ran 2 open teams - Star Paws Jedi and Star Paws Clones winning 4th and 2nd respectively at Commandos Flyball Teams show. It was great to relax without stress of hosting and appreciate at the same time the effort that goes into hosting! For some of the team it was a weekend of 1st's too with 3 dogs debut in open and 3 members joining in the flyball family camping for the weekend.
It was great fun to say the least!
Star Paws Jedi = Rogue, Ivvie, Chase and Lucie, struggled to settle on the box at the start with a few dramatic fumbles, but they did settle and do amazing especially our young member Niamh who was handling Ivvie in a competition for the first time too. Nerves were apparent for all at the start but pulling a 4th did us proud away from home.
Star Paws Clones - Fire, Dexter, Bonnie, Mindy, Willow & Lexi
Debut in open for Fire, Willow and Lexi and jeso I am so frigging proud 2nd place and great team tactics dogs held lanes nooone crossed/chased and lots of last 2 dogs Mindy and Lexi pulling back races as 3rd and 4th dogs.
Be proud Star Paws family we had a blast and took our ethos on tour - we are the same wherever happy flyballers!
