Introducing a big cuddle bug called Starsky the bulldog!!! What a magnificent looking guy. His unique colouring and squishy face make him absolutely adorable!!
Starsky is four years young and looking for a special home, preferably with breed experience.
When he came into our care the vet carried out a health check and he had dry, sore skin. He's responded well to treatment but obviously this is something to keep an eye on.
Starsky has had his first vaccine and will get his second next week.
This wee guy loves the outdoors and and walks. He has been used to staying outside so will need a patient human to help him transition to sleeping inside. Something that is very important with this cold weather.
Starsky isn't neutered but we are booking him in with our local vet before rehoming.

Private rehoming: REHOMED

Original name is Henry but we've been calling him Rex, approximately 4 months old, male husky mix
Beautiful, affectionate and loving boy who appears to need all aspects of puppy/toilet training - gravitates towards using a crate for toileting but we've been trying to get him used to going outside and he's responded fantastically
Loves cuddles and kisses and is very friendly with people and other dogs, very energetic and loves to play and run and chase the ball
Signs of neglect from previous home, but still such a kind boy with no signs of aggression

Yesterday we got a phone call about two small kittens that needed rescued. Yesterday afternoon we collected these two beautiful kittens now called Bonnie & Clyde they’ve been taken in by the amazing Yvonne and are being cared for and well looked after. Sometimes in life accidents happen. Life throws curve balls and things don't turn out the way they should.
We got a plea for help from a genuinely lovely person today. She was distraught. Her beautiful German Shepherd unfortunately fell pregnant and has had a litter of gorgeous healthy, happy pups. Thankfully, mummy and pups are thriving. The dad was a handsome German shepherd who was only doing what nature intended.
We all know neutering is the best thing for our dogs but we can't judge. All we can do is support and help this lady find the best ever homes for her litter of puppies.
The pups will remain with their mum and owner until rehomed. If you think you could offer a loving home to one of these pups please send a private message to the page and we will put you in contact with the owner.

Please welcome little Jules and Arielle to Hope Haven Rescue! These two adorable American Bulldog girls are only 4 months old and are now ready to look for a wonderful forever home!
Both are stunning. Jules is the one with two gorgeous black patches on her wee eyes and Arielle has a cute grey patch on hers.
These two girls are adorable and very clever! They are both toilet and crate trained.
Jules and Arielle need homes that will continue to spend time with them and shower them with love. Both need to be rehomed separately to help them flourish.
Hope Haven Rescue have provided health checks, vaccinations and neutering when the pups are of age. They will not be rehomed with an unneutered male.

Chase is a 5month old male staffy, good with kids and dogs.
Is mostly house trained, still has the odd accident.
Loves his walks and cuddles on the sofa.

Miss Poppy had her operation today and all is looking well for the wee woman who’s currently still available for adoption ❤️

Little Princess 👑 Poppy is currently being totally spoilt and pampered in her foster home 🏡.
A loving, energetic wee woman who is incredibly affectionate. She loves her foster siblings ... dogs 🐶 and cats 🐈
Her foster mummy noticed a small lump on her wee paw 🐾... took her to the vet as over the past few days it has started to grow. She has an appointment on Friday with vet Arthur who will carry out a deep tissue investigation to see what the issue is. Everyday, we are waiting for a cancellation. Her foster family and of course all of us at Just Like Home are hoping for good news. The price for a fna is £200. In a young dog this could be a thing called a histiocytoma. If it is they normally spontaneously regress within 6-8 weeks. But if it’s not it could be a mast cell tumour which is more serious.
We know money at this time of year is extremely tight but if all our followers gifted £1 each this would be an amazing act of kindness which we would really appreciate and it would go directly to paying this little ones vet bill.
