Hi Guys, just a wee reminder that all dog poo 💩 must be lifted around the shop. Two large poos found yesterday outside my front door is not acceptable.
We provide poo bags and we can dispose of them for you, thank you xx

Hi Guys,

Can we have a chat about fleas, for the last few weeks we are seeing an increase in dogs with fleas coming into the salon.
When we have a dog with fleas we need to isolate them to a separate room, deep clean the cages and the bath they were in. Cancel the next dogs so we can hoover and spray everything down.
We are a salon who will not tolerate fleas and we don’t want to pass on fleas to responsible dog owners who treat regularly.
As a small business we cannot absorb these costs, upsetting our routine, stopping to clean, cancelling our next dogs, and its upsetting for us to ring customers to tell them to come and collect their dog, this all takes time.
As a business I cannot absorb the costs and from the end of last week we started to charge full price plus smoke bombs if your dog has to be sent home without being groomed .
Please do not buy flea treatments from any other source but your vet. They may not be as strong and effective, it’s not that expensive to treat your pet with vet prescribed medication
If you suspect fleas, rub your dog with a white damp cloth if it turns red your dog has fleas.
Please check your dog regularly and if fleas are discovered give us as much notice as possible to postpone your appointment and then follow veterinary advice before rebooking another appointment

💔 Hi Guys, we are devastated at the sad passing of Conri who we had the pleasure of grooming for many years.
I adore the breed which many of you know I own two wolfhounds.
I can’t thank the royal Irish regiment enough for trusting me with their mascot.
Thinking of Rab and the family at this sad time.
Conri run free to chase all the female Irish wolfhounds. Your girlfriend Rosie will miss you xx 😭 💔

It is sad duty to report that Brian Boru X the RegimentalMascot of the RoyalIrishRegiment, affectionately known as Conrí, died on Saturday 6 July 2024.

Conrí has been the Regimental Mascot since May 2016. ☘️⚫️🟩

Hi Guys,
It has been brought to my attention from neighbouring businesses that some customers have not picked up their dog 💩 or have bagged it and left it lying on the pavement.
This looks bad for us renting a shop in a business park and I don’t want it to affect our position with Kilroot management who we have had a great working relationship for 10 years.
We supply bags and will dispose of your bags. Kilroot and ourselves have signs up.
Kilroot also have cameras about the site and would hate for anyone to get fined.
Please be respectful and lift up after your dogs xx

💕 We groomed this wee girl today. The wee pup that is about 1 years old and has had a litter already. Please stop buying pups if you haven’t seen mum and dad. If things don’t feel right don’t buy them. Don’t give the puppy farmers your money just because you want a puppy, our hearts are broken xx

Update, Maggie’s operation went very well. Firmount Vets in Antrim were fantastic, so professional and I trusted them one hundred percent, I would highly recommend them.

Thanks for giving us your support and love, I’m beyond relieved now and my baby is home 💕

My baby Maggie is getting surgery tomorrow at 9.30am. She has Pyometra, she is getting her womb removed. Please say prays for her, we all love our babies, 🐩 I adore her 😘

💕 💕 💕 Hi Guys,
This is a rant but a nice one, we are now sending out reminders 48 hours before your appointments. Please reply to our messages as it takes time to send them.
Last week we had so many cancellations, my dog is sick, my child is sick, I forgot and no shows, i have to go into work. Sometimes these cancellations were one hour before you arrive, we cannot fill these slots quickly to pay our staff wages, rent, rates, repairs and suppliers.
We are a small business who pride ourselves on the great service we give. We really don’t want to be taking deposits but can’t cope with so many postponed appointments at short notice.
Please be thoughtful when postponing your appointment xx

💕 💕 💕 We are officially 10 years grooming, at home 1 year and 9 years in the shop at Kilroot business Park 🥳 . We had a fab open day, here’s some photos of that day with u105 radio Carolyn Stewart and Julian Simmons opening the shop. We appreciate how you have supported us over the years and have helped to grow our business to what it is today, we couldn’t have done it without your support. This is a heart melter, we brought Autumn in on October. A sorry soul who was in a pup mill. Churned out for babies, matted and exhausted, it broke our hearts. She didn’t know how to live inside a house, she smelt unbearable, we had to shave her and she was so good and wanted Iove . Now look at the difference she is a new dog. Absolutely broke our hearts. New family now giving lots of love, we just aren’t dog groomers. We adore dogs ❤️

❤️ 🥰 ❤️ We met Bella today for a bubble bath and a splash of Perfume. She was rescued yesterday by Gary and Anita from Mount10 Gallery in Carrick. She will have the most amazing home and well loved. She was a pleasure to groom and so well behaved. We all loved her so much 💕 💗
