We have had a cat handed into ourselves this morning after being hit by a car on Alveston drive. They are currently stable but we would like to get in contact with the owners as soon as possible. Not microchipped and no collar so gender withheld for identification purposes.

We sadly have had a deceased black cat handed into us today by a member of the public. They were found on Saturday on the Ballyskeagh Road, Drumbeg. They were not microchipped and did not have a collar so gender has been withheld for identification purposes.

Slow feeders, what are they and why would you use one? 🤔
Slow feeder bowls come in a lot of shapes and sizes but their main function is to slow down the rate at which a dog eats their food ✋
There are various reasons why a dog would benefit from one of these -
🤮 to stop them eating so fast that they regurgitate their food.
🎈 to prevent Gastric Dilation Volvulus AKA bloat, a painful and life threatening condition.
🍽️ eating more slowly helps dogs to feel fuller for longer and can help with begging behaviours and those struggling with some extra weight.
🧠 an additional source of mental stimulation which is beneficial to their wellbeing and can help to reduce unwanted behaviours.
