I cannot believe it was almost 2 years ago now that we made the decision to close Luna’s Loft. It was such a heartbreaking decision and I still miss it to this day 💔

“I have absolutely loved being part of the Lunas loft family. It’s been great being a rep, showing off Hannah’s wonderful creations and helping with releases. As we all know I am OBSESSED with elderberry 😉 But honestly the best part about it is the friends we have made. We often make the drive down to meet up with Hannah and other reps for walks and photoshoots. I’ve learnt so much from these guys and they are friends for life now ☺️ You’re all stuck with me and Luna 😘”

Hey, it's Charlotte & Hannah here… 👋

And, while we don't claim to know it all, over the years of both being hydrotherapists, Charlotte also being a Veterinary Physiotherapist, Trick Dog Instructor and Canicross Instructor, and Hannah also being a Canine Fitness Conditioning Coach, and training to become a Pro Dog Trainer, we HAVE helped hundreds of dogs. We have helped them to increase their performance at competitions, allowed them to go on longer hikes, improved their quality of life and helped their owners to better understand their conditioning needs, helping to reduce their risk of injury by creating a sustainable step by step action plan. These amazing people call themselves fitness fanatics 💪

And yet…

Not that long ago, we were in your shoes.

We'd take a step forward only to take three more back. We were drowning, being unable to afford physio appointments, or find a professional who understands how to condition a dog to increase our dog's performance in sports. At that time we were rehab specialists, not fully understanding the needs of sporting and working dogs. Before becoming hydrotherapists we had no idea canine conditioning even existed!

Anyway, if that's kinda how you feel right now...

🥺 WE ARE PERMANENTLY CLOSING DOWN! 🥺

Hey everyone, I’m making the extremely hard decision to permanently close the Loft 😢

It’s been a very hard decision for me to make, because my business has been my life for so long now. However I have decided that my true passion lies elsewhere. I will continue to sell products until I have used up of all of my materials and hardware etc. but once everything is gone we will be closing down.

I’m so very sad to be writing this 😢 but equally I have been so much happier the last month just working with Canine Physio & Fitness, I enjoy it so much more and I’m getting a hell of a lot more job satisfaction knowing that I’m actually helping dogs, and their owners. Knowing that I am improving the dogs quality of life means an infinite amount more to me.

So with all that, we’ll only be open a few more months 😭 but this does mean lost of amazing sale prices! A lot of our products are being uploaded to the website starting today, you can apply all codes even over the top of sale prices too. Last chance to get hold of some super cute, high quality products for your doggo! 🐶

I am going to miss the Loft for sure, and I want to thank everyone for the constant ongoing support. I have made some amazing friends, learned some truly valuable lessons and a huge variety of skills in the last 5 years. It has been a joy to go on this journey, but I cannot tell you all how excited I am for the next chapter. 💜

“Lunas Loft was the first small business we fell in love with through Instagram and will always be very dear to us. I remember thinking oh I'll only buy a couple bandanas as a treat because they are amazing quality posh and expensive, and we are just scruffs! Ive always been a typical tight Yorkshire lass who watches the pennies. Cue the first live sale we watched and the beginning of a serious addiction, many many bandanas, snoods, collars and leads later we found ourselves being chosen as seasonal reps ❤ repping for the Loft was a dream position and I still can't belive Hannah actually thought we were good enough to make the cut! We may have been newbies but it's been lovely to be welcomed into the Lunas Loft family, such a supportive little team, and there is no pressure from the group if you're not confident with people, just support. Which has been amazing because my social skills have always been lacking so when it comes to group chats I'm pretty quiet. Loft bandanas in particular are and always will be one of our main year round go to accessories, they are just the perfect comfy fit and of course top quality 💕”

And so my addiction began 🙈Then as I began to get to know a little more about Hannah and the values behind the loft I became even more hooked. The positivity and kindness that Hannah advocates has been so important to me, and a big part of the reason I wanted to rep for her. 👉 Which dog sports does this cater for?
✅ This course is a groundwork course, and the exercises can be performed in such a way that will benefit ALL dog sports. Including, but not limited to, Agility, Bikejoring, Canicross, Competitive Obedience, Conformation Showing, Disc Dog, Dock Diving, Field Trials, Flyball, Herding, Heelwork To Music, Hound Trialing, Mushing, Musical Canine Freestyle, Protection Sports, Rally Obedience, Scentwork, Scootering, Sheepdog Trials, Skijoring, Waterwork/water rescue and Working Gundogs.

👉 I don’t do sports with my dog, does that mean this is not for me?
✅ This course will still be extremely beneficial for you and your dog! Not only will you be strengthening them, improving their body awareness, increasing their flexibility and more on the fitness side. But you will also be helping to prevent them from injury, looking after their body as they age, providing them with mental stimulation AND building an even stronger bond with them! Sounds great right?!

👉 I don’t have a dedicated training space, how much room will I need?
✅ You don’t need a big training room or field for these exercises. All you need is a bit of space in your living room or dining room, and somewhere you can take them for a warm-up walk - just a 5 min loose lead walk around your street or garden is absolutely perfect!

👉 Does it matter how old my dog is?
✅ This course is suitable for dogs of all ages! We cover the do’s and don’t with puppies and juvenile dogs, and explain how to spot if your dog is becoming tired so you don’t overdo it with unfit or older dogs. Dogs of all ages really benefit from conditioning, and while we are more cautious with pups and older dogs, it’s so valuable to their health - and development for younger dogs - that we really believe every dog should be joining in!
