Doug & Beau came to see us for the first time today 🥰

Their dad called us a few weeks ago to discuss Doug’s additional needs for being groomed after he had surgery to remove his femoral head before the new year.

Supporting a dog who has recently had surgery can be challenging in the grooming salon, especially when it is their first time coming to you and you’re a complete stranger.
You not only have to take in to consideration their physical condition but also their emotional too. Surgery is a traumatic event for anyone human or dog, so having side effects emotionally is extremely likely for most cases.

Doug did amazing today and we worked at his pace and supported his needs throughout his appointment. We listened when he displayed signs of being unhappy and we found a different way to get things done, which he would be happy with.

Beau was an absolute treasure and kept checking in with her brother to make sure he was ok which was super sweet, even though she was a tad nervous of her new surroundings herself.
It just shows how amazing dogs really are 🥰

Hey everyone !

Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who swapped their appointments yesterday and today 🙏🏻

I have had the worst migraine I have had in what seems like forever and it’s totally wiped me out. So your understanding means so much. Being self employed isn’t too great when you have chronic conditions that creep up on you every now and again 🙈

Also I want to say a huge thank you to Fallon & Kara who have held the fort today and still managed to get half the dogs done who were booked in 🤩 both of them have smashed it out the park and made me super proud 🥰

I will be back in the salon tomorrow with Fallon 🫶🏻
