Today is not the joyous day it should be for so many.

At midnight tonight the XL Bully ban crashes our lives back a decade or 2 of growth. Showing yet again the government don’t listen to their experts, don’t learn from the past and don’t care about the people and definitely, definitely don’t care about the dogs themselves.

At midnight thousands of innocent dogs are punished or sentenced to death because these ignorant people only look at what they want to see and not the facts or pleas laid out in abundance before them.

For all the workers who will be forced to sacrifice their furry friends in rescue, vets forced to euthanise healthy, happy, friendly dogs, for the walkers, groomers and boarders who can no longer see their pals, I’m sorry for what you are going through.

For the owners forced to punish their family who have given their everything, I’m sorry.

But mostly for the Dogs, who have done nothing wrong but what was asked of them by their owners, for the dogs who are punished for the way they look and not how they act, for them losing their freedom, and for those losing their lives. I’m SO SORRY we failed you.

And that my gorgeous Friends is the end of the year for Paws! And what a year we’ve had, it’s been a very emotional day for me, the final walk for 2 of my girls and I will truly miss our walking fun.

For now though, let’s all have some rest, enjoy our families and festivities. I know I will

⚠️⚠️when it rains, it pours!⚠️⚠️

Sadly I will be off work the first part of this week also, I’m feeling better now however, sadly one of the little paws is now poorly and not allowed back to school for 48hrs. He’s dragging mum down with him so we’re having a blast 😕

No walks till Wednesday/Thursday as it stands I will keep you all as up to date as I can. I’m so so sorry guys, please tell the floofs I am missing them massively 😢😢

Coming back and still full of smiles, love and giggles with the dogs, I’m broken but they make it all so much easier.

Some true bonds forming now from our last intro’s. It’s amazing to see, puppies growing to baby brothers of dogs they only see a couple of hours a week. Little puppies turning slowly into giant winder dogs 😂

Guys I am aware invoices haven’t been sent for last week, I got swept away last week with being selfish and popping to London to see Pink and I’ve a festival this week so it’s literally a whirlwind in my life right now. So I’m calling it quits tonight so I’ve more of a head about me tomorrow and will send both last weeks and this weeks tomorrow so I don’t have to fit that in while bouncing around to some 90’s tunes!!

The next 2 days will run as normal, the weather is looking mild and damp so normal walkies, home visits and messy joy will ensue. I’ve remember to pack the towels this week 😂 if anyone knows their bill amounts and wants to get that paid for either week, go right ahead. I do have a few of you up to date or in credit. And I’ll be sending bills regardless then checking off what’s been paid against it

Last week, shocking that it started with absolute downpour! Stopped videos cos my phone stopped working with the rain and then out came the sun and ending the week back with home visits and cover walks

Sorry I been so lax on videos and updates. The absolutely craziness of life this month is absolutely insane! So here’s a couple of weeks ago when the sun was stupid strong. We hid a lot under cover and lots of water, home visits and mental workouts instead but by gosh did we love it

Did you guys know that Paws 🐾 doesn’t just deal in dog walks?

Although dogs and their walks are the main part in my business and what I started up for, but I also help and cover home visits, holiday feeds and welfare checks for any and all animals. I am not squeamish and the Tarantula in the picture is mine, I do have a varied knowledge of most domestics including reptile, and will happily even pop in and feed the sheep/goats/chickens.

So if you have a holiday booked and not sure who to ask to pop in to check on the more obscure of family members, pop me a message.

Just a little reminder than during these hot and sunny days, dog walkers take quite a big cut in income due to the nature of the business and our desire to keep the doggos and floofs safe, healthy and happy. We ensure the dogs are not put at risk just for a financial gain and I don’t know any walkers who would have it any other way.

With this in mind, it becomes rather pressing for those payments to be paid as promptly as possible.
Please ensure you are keeping your account up to date for us. Personally, I hate having to chase people for money and it becomes quite draining. Please check to to ensure your account is up to date and that all payments are made as prompt as you can or communication about when payment is due is paramount.

⚠️⚠️ HOT WEATHER WARNING⚠️⚠️

Next week is looking to be an utter scorcher! Please be aware this means I may shuffle times and locations of dogs walks, shorten them or soak the dog. I pay close attention to all my dogs and will be carrying extra water. I will not allow anyone in any kind of risk.

Please be assured, I love these dogs and will act in their best interest as I know you trust me to do.
We do walk undercover where the breeze is cool, we have plenty of water stops, and we don’t touch tarmac at all. If there any provisions you’d like me to do at home when I drop them back, message me and I’ll ensure it’s sorted.

And that lands us on Thursday. The rare return of a form favourite, mine, the kids and the dogs love and Albert join in!

Ivy and Diesel shocking Helen today with their progress and Ivy really engaging with the big man today rather than avoiding. He didn’t notice of course cos……… boulder!

Then a Zak, Maggie and Buddy medley. Buddy keeping everyone one their toes and all 3 leading me and Helen in a maypole dance

Odin, Ronnie and Albie! Ronnie liked that he was similar size and Odin was torn who to play with most so chose me 😆 i was honoured. They bounced, they ran, Ronnie popped his extendy lead which pinged back and slapped me across the face (didn’t know they did that 😂) then we ran and bounces and chewed each other a bit more. Albie mostly just marked his trail 😂😂

Finishing the week with a little jog with Halle, who definitely thought we were going to fast at one point, or couldn’t grasp why I wasn’t being dragged. She even avoided falling in the stream this time

Thanks for a gorgeous week back this week my pups of wonder and joy!

Hump day didn’t even feel like a bump day 😂

Started with Zac and Maggies big legs walk. Maggie is starting to pose for my videos now, normally she just eye rolls and sassy me 😂 more important things apparently 😉

Then the little legs, with some branch finding with crazy clients 😂 who Stan love to play with, such a cute walk with them all watching out for each other, love when a pack becomes besties 🥰

Oh Roo! Showing off his masterful camo skills, can’t see him? It doesn’t surprise me, he’s a master 😂 and Nellie decided the sand was hilarious today.
I could breath I was laughing so hard.

Odin did get walked but we were playing all the tug and all the fetch that I forgot to catch any footage 🫢🫣

Finish off Thursday.

These guys started the day with sun and long grass giggles. The smiles that appeared as it cooled their feet and tickle their bellies 😂 gave Buddy the zooms

Then Diesel and Ivy, Ivy started chasing after Dees today. She let him sniff HER FACE!! And he walked away when asked. She’s beginning to trust him 😊

The puppies were calmer today, kinda! Ronnie was bouncing all Odin and he was letting him 😂 Ronnie also found his voice, Odin had no idea what to make of being barked at so he just took his toy away from the noise 😂

And Halle didn’t let up, apparently we had somewhere to be and we were running late 😂

Busy Wednesday! Busy!

Ivy and Diesel working on their forever bond 😂 they will be friends I promise. Diesel likes the company, he’s good boys and I tell him often, Ivy was pooped from so much thinking!

Big legs up next and my gosh to these 2 know how to do chill! I’m so grate til they give me chance to recoup. This walk will have to be retired for the summer if this weather stays!

Then speedy spaniels, I got to see them a little 😂 they checked in a few times 😂 then ran the length of the stream so didn’t need to worry about them getting warm 😂

Then the freshly groomed Odin! O M G does he glisten! Great Job Danni at Dickies Dog Grooming! He was so impressed with his fresh hair do that he only got his toes wet 😂 came back just as shiny and gorgeous.

And finishing my day with the little legs, all doing something a bit new for each of them today, Stan asked to Buddy to play, Buddy said no (rare) and Princess Millie jumped herself over the log (I still lifted her over the second, she’s no a heathen! she’s a princess!)

As most of you are aware, next week is half term and as a single mumma, I’ll be home with my a boys! Cos someone gotta do it 😂

Puppies thank you for an epic week in the sun! I’m already missing your floofy faces. No one says I’m glad to see you like you guys. It’s only 1 week though, then we can get back to lots of woodland walks and water play!
