Children are involved in lots of different activities whilst spending time on camp, horse riding I'm told is one of their favourites!

Tonight this lesson practiced some simple turns and poles riding in a safe manor in the field. :) Great work girls!

You may have noticed some works going on around the yard and stables but we've been keeping a little secret indoors! 👷♂️ 🔨
What has been a condemned building for many years is now structurally sound and has a new roof!
The biggest thank you to Julian and his team @JRH Rendering who carried out the building works and donated time and materials to the internal redesign of the stables.
Thank you to the Armed Forces Equine Charity who have supported us with the project.
Being able to bring in the ponies to a dry stable in the day time will make a huge difference.
With the area prepped and ready to go we plan to use this space for own a pony days and similar activities all under one roof.

Our beginner lessons are taught within a fun and friendly environment. Riding lessons include lots of games and laughter at the same time as learning to ride your pony.
Lessons start at 5yrs old, we do ask an adult to accompany the rider at all times and to be available and able to lead the pony.
Lessons are group sessions £20 45 minutes.
We offer pony rides from 3yrs old, these are a walk out into the woods. £13 30minutes. Saturday@230pm

It's been a hot week 🌞
Our horses have loved having lots of hosepipe time and cooling spray downs
Snowy and flash enjoying a good itch!
Our horses and ponies live in two small herds, we try to keep their environment as natural as we can so that they can enjoy being just a horse as much as possible. They love to come in from the field each day and are often waiting at the gates for us.
Each herd has a lead horse.... who can guess which horses/ ponies this is???

Making the decision to retire a riding school horse is so hard. We love each and everyone of them and always want the best for the horse. On the same hand we have so many customers that will only ride that horse, or have also formed special bonds with that horse inpaticular.
We know that when making that decision we are in effect letting so many people down but always these special animals come first.
We know we made the right decision when receiving a message like this.... Happy Retirement Danny, you've earned it. A huge thank you to his new Mum for giving him this opportunity. 🥰

Bring in your eggs to be used for our Easter egg hunt rides no later than Thursday 14th April. £2 Entry fee to be paid when you bring in your egg/ eggs!
Winner will be announced on Friday 15th April.

Over the last few weeks we have been re assessing your rider grades and many of you have moved up a grade or 2 since your initial assessment. This means that your lesson timetable may look different to previously. We are hoping that your lessons will now be more tailored to you and with riders that are a similar ability.
We have an exciting new STABLE STARS CLUB starting on Saturday 8th January This is a 4 week block booking and will run on a Saturdays at 1230pm -130pm.
⭐Stable Stars⭐ is a non ridden session that includes similar activities to our pony camp. Hands on practical learning about caring for your horse.
⭐ Carefully planned 4 week block booking
⭐Sessions will follow on from each other.
⭐The cost is £60 for 4 sessions
⭐ Payment in full on booking and is non refundable for cancellations.
⭐Limited spaces to 6 per course.
