This handsome boy 🐶 had some foot issues causing him a lot of discomfort. He came to see our Dermatologist Carly and required a Podoplasty ( removal of excess skin/pad) using our Vet scalpel C02 laser. This condition is usually caused from underlying skin allergies or abnormal weight bearing. 🦴
He is doing well and his paws are healing nicely. 🐾😍

This little one came to see Alex Li our Orthopaedic specialist, due to a forelimb deformity.
He required surgical correction of his forelimb. An external fixator was used to stabilise the surgical technique.
Here are some before and after pictures of him.
We will keep you posted when he comes back in for follow up radiographs!

This is an example of periocular erythema (hair loss around the eyes/red and itchy) due to underlying skin allergies. She was also very itchy and had sore gunky ears.

With our dermatologist Carly's help we have figured out that that this pooch has many environmental allergies ( grasses, dust mites etc) and also is allergic to many food types.

You can see from the pictures the improvement over time, following Carly's advice and getting her onto the right food and medication and Immunotherapy.

This is very common so if any of your cats and dogs wont stop itching and gnawing you know where we are! 🐶🦴🐱
