If it’s too hot for your hands or bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! 🐾🌡️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for 5 seconds ✋⏱️ If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am - 6pm. Remember, if you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt 🐶

Buzz and Bentley have been coming to me at the Southend salon for the last 7 years. Since they were pups in fact. I love the challenge of hand sc******ng their heads. One false move and its game over! 🤣 Good job they're such good boys and sit well for me. 💙

I really do have some great customers - human and furry! These sweeties have all been coming to me for a groom for almost 7 years now. That's since I first opened down here in Southend. Thats loyalty for you.

In turn I've built a lovely rappor with the dogs, they trust me, and I think enjoy seeing me as much I as enjoy seeing them. Also those owners have become more like friends than customers. I feel very blessed and grateful! 🙏💙❤️💙❤️🙏

Opie came in today for his regular groom. His undercoat was so thick it took alot of brushing to get it out. He'll be feeling alot cooler now! He's so good at allowing me to brush him for 2 hours solid! Such a great dog! ❤️💙❤️
