🐾 Customer Announcement 🐾

The bottom of Hare Lane is closed this week but the dog park is still fully accessible from the top of Hare Lane, Neroche direction

🐾 Daily road closure update 🐾
Hello to our lovely customers. The BT Openreach roadworks on Hare Lane are today taking place just below our turning on Hare Lane. We therefore encourage our customers to access us from the top of Hare Lane today, but the diversion signs will direct you this way via Dommett

🐾 Attention Customers 🐾
With the ongoing roadworks on Hare Lane this week, the latest update for today is that Heavenly Views Dog Park will be accessible from the bottom of Hare Lane (Broadway direction). Unfortunately Hare Lane is closed just above our turning and so we won’t be accessible from the top of Hare Lane for today.

⚠️ Attention Customers ⚠️
From Monday 16th September BT Openreach will be carrying out roadworks on Hare Lane which may cause some access issues to us depending on where you are coming from. We are very disappointed to say that we have not been given any information on which end of Hare Lane they are closing despite trying our best. We therefore advise all of our customers to allow extra journey time next week for your appointments. We will of course try to update you all with any realtime updates if we receive them. We apologies for any inconvenience 🐾

Dear valued customers,

We do not enjoy having to post this but, unfortunately it has come to our attention that in recent weeks some people have not been picking up their dog faeces in the dog park. This has lead to customers finding excrement in the park, not from their own dogs, which is unpleasant and unnecessary, as well as posing a potential health risk.

We strive to make it as easy as possible to pick up after your dogs when in the park, poo bags and a poo bin are provided on site. We know it is a small minority who are not clearing up after their dogs, but unfortunately it makes the experience of coming to Heavenly Views less pleasant for the majority who do clear up after their dogs.

Please may we politely remind all customers using the dog park that you are required to clean up after your dog during your slot so that others do not have to.

We would like to thank all our customers who are diligent at doing their part to keep the dog park clean and tidy.

Many thanks
The Heavenly Views Team

🐾 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT🐾
Dear Customers, we now have our padlock system in place on the car park gate. The code for this will be on the original email confirmation you have received at the time of your booking. We therefore ask that you are thorough in checking the contact details you provide on the booking form. To open the padlock, simply enter the code you have been emailed and press the button on the bottom of the padlock. We kindly ask that you lock the padlock upon leaving and reset the numbers to something different once this has been locked. We want Heavenly Views Dog Park to remain a safe environment for all dogs and owners and hope that this system helps in keeping it this way. Thank you all for your patience while we have put this new system in motion.

🐾 Extended Opening Hours 🐾
These lighter evenings have put a spring in our step! With the days thankfully getting longer for Summer, we have now added an extra booking slot to the end of each day. Our lovely customers can now book Heavenly Views Dog Park for an hour at 7.30pm; to enjoy some extra time with your pooches after work, or to just soak in the Spring evenings which are surely on their way (we hope!) 🐾

🐾IMPORTANT NOTICE🐾
To all of our lovely customers,
We regret to inform you that we are going to start adopting a padlock system on Heavenly Views Dog Park - the code for which you will be messaged once you’ve completed your booking.
So far, we have been able to run our private dog park on a trust basis, as we are lucky enough to have built a base of honest and loyal customers. But unfortunately, one of our customers has had someone turning up during their private slot, trying to use the park for free. The person in question is an elderly gentleman in a little white car who claims to have seen online that the park is free to park at and use at peoples’ leisure whenever. We are unsure of whether this is a poor elderly chap who has gotten himself confused or someone taking advantage of our trust in the public. Either way, we apologise to any customers who have had to encounter this during their paid session.
We will let you know via our page as a soon as the padlock system is in place and each customer will be texted the code upon completion of your booking - we therefore ask that you double check the contact details you provide at the time of booking to ensure that you receive this code.
Many Thanks

🐾 POLITE NOTICE 🐾
We have had a very disappointing email from one of our loyal customers, informing us that they have recently had to pick up a lot of dog mess from other customers’ dogs. We realise that on the whole, most of our customers are very responsible and clean up after their four-legged friends.
But we would like to kindly remind everyone that we provide not only a poo bin, but also a poo bag dispenser at the dog park, in order to make disposing of your dogs’ mess as easy as possible. Please remember to keep an eye on your lovely pooches even when they are off-lead and pick up after them every time. If we all do our small part, then Heavenly Views Dog Park remains a clean and safe environment for everybody to use.
Many Thanks 🐾

🐾 XL Bully Dogs 🐾

We have had a few of our lovely customers enquire as to whether we allow XL Bully breeds to use Heavenly Views Dog Park, in light of the new laws. It is our opinion that every dog should have the right to play (just like our little Lemon pictured here). We have therefore changed our insurance policy to accommodate XL Bully breeds and welcome these dogs on the following basis:

1. The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the certificate is obtained and provided to us at the time of booking
2. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is provided to us at the time of booking
3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household
4. The dog is neutered - in line with Government rules
5. The dog is microchipped
6. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field
7. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field
8. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the dog park
9. If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler.
10. If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler dog ratio

We appreciate your understanding with this. We are saddened to have to implement different rules for different breeds, but must act in accordance with the law so that we can keep our dog park open for our customers and their lovely dogs
