Small paws lodge provides holiday boarding for your rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, gerbil, mice or other small animal. We can provide accommodation for bonded pairs and multiple pets. You are welcome to come and view small paws lodge facilities before booking, please contact us to arrange a suitable time for viewing.

Did you know Small Paws Lodge can help care for exotic pets too.
We often help care for bearded dragons, snakes and various invertebrates , no animal is off the cards.
This week for us this beautiful Pygmy hedgehog has come to stay.
Did you know the quills are modified hairs and are made of keratin which is what your nails are made out of 🦔

*Exciting news* small paws lodge has decided to expand!!! To include other services such as dog walking.

As many of you know I have held a part time job to which I have loved for many years but small paws lodge continues to go from strength to strength I have decided to take a leap of faith and work solely from small paws lodge.

I have public liability insurance and I am dbs checked, any questions please ask.

So sad to say after the loss of our beautiful white boy Regent in January we sadly lost his wife Juanita today.
I know in my heart that they are reunited together in spirit Binkying across that rainbow bridge .
Small paws lodge mourns you both and the rabbitory seems empty without you.
After nearly 11 years I miss you both

Price increase… morning everyone…. I am sorry to say I will be putting my prices up for £6 pound a day for one rabbit, extra £2 for additional rabbit in the same hutch. £5 pound a day for one guinea pig extra £1 for additional guinea pigs.
I try to keep my prices competitive and looking around i see many places charging much more then I am.
However with recent insurance costs and bedding etc everything cost wide has gone up and I have no choice but to reflect this in my prices.
This increase will be from the 1st July any questions please get in touch.

Today I had to make the heartfelt decision to have my dear Regent put to sleep.
He had been a bit up and down for a while but a scan today revealed strictures in the lower abdomen of a abnormal nature.
He had lost huge amounts of weight despite being liquid fed and was not eating as he should and he just wasn’t his usual regal self.
He will be forever missed by us and many of you I’m sure .

We are now back from our Disney holiday and would like to take the time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
