Rest now darling Rosie.
We had to let our Rosie pony go at the weekend after a drastic downturn in her well being.
At somewhere around 35 years old (possibly a lot older) it was inevitable that at some point her Cushings, laminitis and age were going to take their toll on her small body.
Despite her obvious discomfort she was a sassy little girl right to the end.
She will be sorely missed by so many here, from volunteers, farrier, family, friends and our little visitors who absolutely adored her. No more will we have the sound of her yelling 4 times a day for her feeds....that became even louder if you were late in delivering them. Our lawn will now look a bit boring without the discs of grass that she spat out as she was unable to digest them, but still enjoyed grazing and sucking the juice out of.
Now reunited with her beautiful boyfriends KORAKOR and SUPREME GLORY (Alf) who was her devoted protector.
Thank you Rosie Pony, for the joy you brought into our lives.
