A fabulous weekend of circles at Chard Equestrian Festival of Dressage. Firstly on Friday Mrs C and her young horse, Percy, did their 1 ever prelim test and came home with a 1st place rosette. Very proud of how far they've come in such a short time. Saturday and Sunday was Otis and my turn. Saturday, we won prelim 1 and 2nd in novice 3, Sunday we won both prelim 1 and novice 3 and won the prelim and novice championships. Lots of rosettes and 2 bags of goodies.
Thank you to all involved with putting this event on and those who help me so much to get these amazing results.

The boy did good again. Pontispool this time for the Cotswold Cup, 26.5 dressage which put us in 2nd then nice double clear sj and xc but few times faults knocked us down to 9th. But 9th out of 30 is good in my eyes.
Now let's get practicing this galloping.....

TC Padded Leather Breast Girth

A padded leather is breast girth designed to prevent the saddle from slipping back during intense activity, such as jumping or galloping.

Not as complex as the three-point or five-point breastplate, a breast girth is a single strap that runs around the horse’s chest and attaches to the girth on both sides with an added strap over the withers. With added leather slot for a martingale to feed though if used.

Beautifully hand stitched and created from the finest English leather.

Available to order in standard sizes or a bespoke Made to Measure service. Various elastic colour options, available upon request.

Different set of grey ears this morning. While we were enjoying a day watching friends and customers competing in the Grassroots championship at Badminton yesterday Otis decided he didn't need all 4 shoes so hid one in the long grass! Mrs C, after a very busy long day photographing yesterday opted to do the shoe hunt and poo picking while I was allowed to ride her young horse Percy.

Show jumping in the rain! But I'll take getting wet as A, we need it and B, it was a fantastic round!!! A big beefy 90 and our very 1st water tray! Might have given the water tray some height but he never hesitated. Super pleased and the best round we've jump. 😃
