At Daisy's Dairy all of our milk is produced from our happy herd of cows and pasteurised in our own micro dairy on farm. Making it fully traceable from our our cows to you 💚

And in light of recent news stories we can confirm that we DO NOT feed Bovaer, nor are our cows part of any trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including stock management, customer service, and logistics management .
• Support the team to meet targets and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Help manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Supervise staff and coordinate work schedules.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for stock, sales, and budgets.
• Contribute to the development of business strategies and operational improvements.
• Assist in managing all social media platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar management role, preferably in agriculture and equine or a related industry.

• The ability to withstand heavy lifting of bags up to a weight of 25kg on a daily basis.
• RSQP certification would be beneficial to the role but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Other tasks as the need arises.
• Some weekends will be required within this role.

Meadow Lite with Herbs is made from a soft, tasty blend of chopped grasses and oat straw to provide a low calorie (5MJ/kg DE) feed suitable for good doers and those prone to laminitis.

In comparison Meadow Grass with Herbs & Oil is a blend of chopped and pelleted grasses with a high inclusion of rapeseed oil making it higher in calories (11.5MJ/kg DE) and more suitable for horses that are in higher levels of work or those that struggle to maintain condition and weight.

Both products contain a rapeseed oil coating to promote coat shine, however Meadow Grass with Herbs & Oil has a higher inclusion (10% compared to 3%). Meadow Lite with Herbs also includes a very light linseed oil dressing, which is a great source of omega 3 essential fatty acids.

Both products have been formulated as straight feeds with no added vitamins and minerals to maximize their flexibility. This means that a source of vits and mins should be fed alongside to provide a balanced diet. Meadow Lite with Herbs can be fed ad-lib as a forage replacer, however due to the high oil content Meadow Grass with Herbs & Oil can only partially replace forage up to a maximum of 500g per 100kg bodyweight.

Meadow Lite with Herbs also includes postbiotics which support the gut microbiota for general health and wellbeing. The ingredients in Meadow Lite with Herbs are included to promote gut health for horses on restricted fibre rations.
