Out of a mare who qualified and competed at HOYS in both classes Intermediate Show riding horses and Hack.

Just 5yro Broken Professionally with the top show ring in mind I am so lucky to have bagged this dream mare by Co Pilot.
Seeing this mare I was soooooo tempted to produce her but I stuck to what I brought her for and that’s a girlfriend for Unicorn.

I can honestly say this mare will give the most unbelievable foal to unicorn as they are both beautiful models. Not to mention it’s likely to be Buckskin!!

A Specially mixed surface designed to get the best out of indoor riding. Iv been in talks with one of the leading suppliers of Equestrian Surfaces for some while now and today it’s all happening.

I COULDN’T RESIST🫶🏻

I know I’m giving up breeding the high end showjumpers but I still have my pet Spanish stallion Unicorn. I brought a Spanish girlfriend for him to live with and honestly he has been happier than a pig in muck so when this mare came along from a friend I couldn’t help but get him a second girlfriend.

Bred to be a large riding horse the dam of the mare was a very very succesful large riding horse with too many wins to mention and has been to HOYS countless times. (2nd, 3rd & 4th picture).

I have a personally history to this mare so it is very special to me. She is by the stallion Co Pilot who made history by being the youngest ever winner of the supreme in-hand title at the British Skewbald and Piebald Association's national championships .He has gained three 1st Premiums with the Scottish Sport horse , Chaps & BSPA and was the highest scoring youngster at both his Chaps and BSPA Evaluations. He is somewhat legendary for producing show horses.

Well I owned the dam Wendy 15 years ago! (Coloured horse trotting in front of white fence).

To my amazing Unicorn (last pictures) I think she will have some pretty impressive foals while keeping unicorn company.

When thinking of the most beautiful and most beautiful model of a pony you could ever set eyes on then this is it. You just need to be around this pony and you realise it is just pure quality.
Not broken, is very well handled but is not a plod this is a competition pony. He is switched on not a dope on a rope! He has 0 malice, is brilliant to do everything with we have found but think of a warmblood personality in a pony body.

Absolutely amazing movement and screams top W/H pony in the way he moves. Not much knee action, beautifully straight and just mega mega flash.

His jump though 😵😵
Seriously! Knees to chest and its backend throws away like a top jump bred warmblood! Super careful, Brave isn’t the word it is attacking the jump no matter how big and is staying careful and class with it.

Again like my other 2 this pony will only be what I think it has the potential to be if he is produced correctly so please bare in mind he is young & needs producing correct to get the best out of him. He is a pony with a high value in the future for sure.

Well it’s official🎉 It’s out there even though I expected it….Medoc De Toxandria (Eddie the Eagle) is a Oly pic selected horse for Paris 2024🎉🎊

To get to say you’ve not only selected a Olympic horse as a 4yro in Belgium & imported it but to say I myself broke and produced him as a 4yro & 5yro. I started his career riding him in the 5yro classes in Spain on the sunshine tour 2017. This horse was seriously over looked as a young horse by the very best riders & owners but I always knew he was special. I can say my love for riding & producing young horses pretty much came to a stop after Eddie as let’s be honest when you sit on a young horse like him….You cannot replace them. I’m proud to say his early years as a 4yro & 5yro were wholesome doing some arena eventing, Dressage white board hire, Gymnastics and his second ever show was Spain Sunshine tour as a 5yro. He was never rushed or pushed always ridden in a snaffle with me and hacked out everywhere. He was a pleasure to break, start his education and produce through them important baby years and I’m just so pleased he got his big break in the people who found his talent along the way and have taken him to where he is today.

Some exciting news…….So I was looking for a companion girlfriend for my famous little unicorn. I thought about going for any type of mare until I thought this is unicorn we are talking about. Famous in Spain & Portugal with his own book wrote about him, his own page and a horse who used to do meet & greets and sell merchandise about him. He wore 8 ft wings in sell out shows all around Europe and was called Pegasus the Winged horse.
Any girlfriend wouldn’t do!

Bring forward Melisandra NG Pure PRE liver chestnut mare. She was bred by a top stud & her breeding is prolific. Sire is the only Palomino PRE stallion in Ireland competing medium level Dressage and about to step up to advanced. Her movement is just unbelievable, Temperament is fabulous & her deep liver chestnut coats is like copper in the sun.

I was told she was in season when I brought her….We placed her in the field and in less than 5 minutes she was covered. I am so excited. A new chapter as Unicorn is my pet. I never thought I’d be using him but I’d be mad not to and this pair will I know breed the most fabulous foal!

Medoc de toxandria as a 4yro. Who would have thought I was producing a horse that’s future was the Olympics. Oh well me yes I did🙋🏻‍♀️. One of the best horses there is competing. On long list for Olympics and I’m pretty sure this horse will be there. Nations Cup Winner, European medalist the list goes on. Eddie you were always a freak of nature. How can you ever find a young horse you want to rider & produce when you’ve broken and produced the best there is?

A customer asked me how much it would be for this 🐴 ....

He said: So expensive?

I asked: How much do you think it would cost you?

He answers me: 4500 maximum...

- For 4500 I invite you to do it yourself.

- But.... I don't know how to.

- I tell you what I'll teach you how to. So you'll get the knowledge for the next time you want

- It seemed right to him and he agreed.

- But to get started: you need: A Laptop with good computer skills, A good internet telephone, Understanding of european languages and respect for those countries and the way they trade, A good relationship with a transport company, Vet Practice, Know how to make international transfers and make sure the payment is clear for the transporter to collect and don’t forget the export papers they need to be done on certain days no more than 10 days before import, Oh and don’t forget you will need to take time out for your trip to Europe, flights, Car hire, Fuel, insurance with no certainty you will find one horse. Oh you will need a good relationship with breeders and traders abroad so you know your getting the best for your money without offending and that you have a trained skilled eye to see a horse in a group of 20 or more in a field with mud covering them, Wooly coats, long feet, bite marks and oh you want to see trot up do you😳 the most you will get of that is to clap your hands and hope it trots away from the herd without sending them all galloping everywhere. Oh you need to see it loose jump..., Yes again best you will most likely see is it jumping out the way of another horse kicking it from the hay ring

- But do I still need to pay that money if I don’t see them things as I don’t know if I can risk 3500 plus all you’ve said and I don’t know what I’m buying

Man- 10,000! How do I know it’s the best of the bunch when Iv not seen it do anything?!

Breeder- you don’t and won’t buying the one you need to buy the herd than your certain you get the best from the bunch.

Man- But I cannot afford the herd and don’t want the herd as I don’t have stables, land and space for more than one.

Breeder- Well you cannot take just that one as that’s the nicest looking and easiest to sell with the best pedigree so you have to buy a few or no deal.

Now let’s take into account the
- Bureaucratic, tax, security, insurance, wages, being always on call, always waiting and never missing that superstar no matter if it’s Christmas Day or your ill or your on holiday your always available, Also risk factors live stock is dead stock and all and this is the tip of the iceberg etc.

- You know, I've been thinking. Y ' all better get the job done. I'd rather pay you the 6000.

When you pay in a business you pay not only for the material used, but also:

- Knowledge

- Experience

- Study

- Tools

- Services

- Time to go

- punctuality

- Accountability

- Professionalism

- Accuracy

- Guaranteed

- Patents

- Sacrifices
