PHARMACY & INVENTORY ASSISTANT
The Ralph is a large independent multidisciplinary specialist referral centre in Marlow, southeast of England. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional, compassionate care for dogs and cats. Our dedicated and passionate team continually delivers the best treatment and support for our patients and their families. We are currently expanding our team and are on the lookout for an equally dedicated Pharmacy and Inventory Assistant.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist our Pharmacy and Inventory Lead in the management of our pharmacy's daily operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of pharmaceutical and other supplies and consumables, ensuring stock is always well-stocked and replenished.
- Assist with the placement, receiving, and organisation of drug and other inventory orders.
- Ensure that all inventory is properly labelled, stored, and disposed of as required.
- Work closely with our large team of veterinary surgeons and nurses to ensure that prescribed medications are prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with pet carers about their pet’s medication as necessary.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of inventory records.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.
In addition to our Pharmacy and Inventory Lead, you will work closely with our Clinical Operations Manager, Assistant Clinical Director, and Clinical Operations Assistants, among others.
**Qualifications:**
- Already being a Companion Animal Suitably Qualified Person (C-SQP) or having a similar qualification is desirable but not essential
- Prior experience in the veterinary or another healthcare sector is a plus
- Prior experience in pharmacy or inventory management is a plus
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in basic computer applications
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their wellbeing

**Other Information:**
~ Salary: £22,000-26,000, subject to experience and additional relevant qualifications/certifications.
~ We would prefer full-time, yet we are open to part-time applicants.
~ Weekdays only; no weekends or Bank Holidays.
~ The role will potentially include early and late shifts.

**Marlow:**
Marlow is located on the River Thames between Henley and Windsor. This is a beautiful area with lovely walks, water-based activities and more. Our hospital is just off the A404 with easy access from the M4 and M40 motorways and is close to London.
