H O T W E A T H E R I N F O

I take no chances over dog comfort and safety. I understand how quickly dogs can develop heat stroke and I take my responsibility seriously (not to mention the fact I've always had an over-developed sense of empathy 🙃)

Please know that I excessively check what the HOURLY temperatures are going to be to know whether walks will go ahead. If the predicted temperature is above 22° (the safe benchmark temperature for most dogs), walks are either cancelled or a private field session offered, where there is no vigorous exercise, just slow pottering & sniffing in the SHADE, with water 🧡

Gorgeous Pan, who I've cared for ad hoc since she was a tiny puppy joined this session today 🧡

She always fits in really well, but she & Idris seem to have an especially good connection and totally revel in their fun together!!! 😄🤗🧡

Brodie & Lily had a blast on their weekly wild adventure, and Eppie & Alfie got their own way after they told me they didn't want to do the walk route we were on. So we went to the redcliffe field where they were full of the joys of summer! With Idris, who is always game for anything 🤗😀🧡

A lovely summer's day for the dogs today. Me, I'm still full of cold & hayfever, but these guys make it ok! 🐶🥰🧡

Nevertheless, I'm hoping to motivate myself enough to get up early for the solstice sunrise tomorrow 🌅🐓🪷☀️
It should also be a beautiful clear sky to watch the sun set this evening 🧡☮️☯️🪗🫶🌄🪕🪘

Just over a week of the crowdfunder left for The Flan Jam Festival in Cheddar on 27th July, which is a completely free community event for all the family. All profits go to The Space in Cheddar and The Ben Raemers Foundation.

Field stop off this morning 🧡 Apparently, according to these guys, hedgehog poo is not as good as fox poo and it's not even worth a roll. Now I've managed to stop the foxes coming in but not the hedgehogs, this is particularly good news 👌😁😂

A few snaps from one of the sessions today and Tuesday. The hay was baled in the Redcliffe field yesterday afternoon. Absolutely beautiful up there today. Everyone was very happy 😀🐶🧡

Sunny Wednesday, mostly pictures at our Redcliffe field, between some apparent daily hay-turning.

The dogs have been loving frolicking over it, sniffing it endlessly, and rolling in it! An amazing sensory playground 🧡🧡🧡

PS Farmers...Hoping we haven't been treading on it too much, and have kept it feather light 😀
