I continue to be astounded by the response I have had to the Women's Pack Walks!
Last night I was a little bit star struck, being interviewed by Jo Good and Anna Webb on BBC Radio London's 'Barking At The Moon'
Here is a video of the interview in case you missed it! π

Meet Flower!
**UPDATE. Thanks so much for sharing. Flower has now found a new family to love her π
This gorgeous 2yr old girl arrived at Dogs Friends at start of December with her littermates. When first getting to know us she was quite unsure and would hide towards the back of her kennel, but now she can't wait to see the girls every day & wiggles whilst she jumps up and down on the spot like a kangaroo.
She loves time up in the field and is a very playful girl. As you can see she loves tummy rubs and until recently was kenneled with her sister and has shown that she can socialise well with other dogs. With this in mind we are really hoping for a foster or adopted home with other dogs. Having lived in a kennel her whole life she can be unsure of new people, but other dogs in the home can reassure her and help her learn how to live in a household.
Her new owners/foster parents must be patient and calm. She tries to be clean in her kennel but will need support with toilet training and acclimatising to household items like mirrors/washing machines/Hoover's etc.
We are currently helping her build the confidence to accept a lead, and today she went out on a harness for her FIRST ever walk. Her sister who has a similar temperament has gone from strength to strength in her foster home and we have every confidence that she will flourish as well.
The ideal home for flower would be:
πΎ Experienced owners of medium/large working breeds
πΎ Rural location, away from busy roads and construction
πΎ Large garden/enclosed paddock space.
πΎ Male or female household
πΎ Company of another active and playful dog. She loves doggy company and would benefit from a friend to help reassure her in a new environment.
πΎ Humans home the majority of the time
πΎ We think she could benefit from a household either without children or with calm children over 12. She has shown no signs of aggression but would be overwhelmed at first by living in a house with
