Clearly something horrible that they have found to roll in! Nothing viable but they will get the smell test when they go in. They looked so happy I didn’t have the heart to stop them!!

A few of the dogs having a great time on their morning walk. Pluto and Boris especially like playing together whilst laying down and it seemed to be catching as a few other decided to join in!!🐾🐾

A little rough for my liking but they were having such a good time I didn’t want to spoil their fun on the morning walk. A minute before Tucker had been the one charging around the paddock with Koopa until his kennel mate Nelly stole him.

Just to reassure all my customers with current bookings they will all be honoured. That is no thanks to Chelmsford City Council but I have taken steps to ensure all your cats can stay at my luxury Catteries and there is no need to seek alternative accommodation in the few Catteries that still exist. I am sorry for the alarm I have caused some of my customers but this has been a very distressing time for me. I re-mortgaged my house to create the biggest and best Catteries I possibly could only to be bullied by Chelmsford City Council on minor failings in the new legislation that they have admitted raised no concerns what so ever for the welfare of any animals in my care.
Onward and upwards I hope.
Pippa

Can everybody please share this far and wide so a news team picks this up. Those that use me know I the have the biggest most luxury Catteries in Essex and my licensing officer at Chelmsford City Council has a personal vendetta against me.

All Cattery bookings are ok currently so no need for my customers to find elsewhere. A letter to the council would help expressing your dismay at there behaviour.

Good afternoon Philippa

I refer to your email of 20th May 2024.

In our letter dated 14th May 2024, we stated that you need to make written representations to Chelmsford City Council within seven working days.

If you decide not to respond to the points raised regarding the cattery, the cattery cannot continue to trade until September. It would need to close, all cats removed to owners or emergency back-up (Ladybird is stated within your procedures) and no further bookings taken, by Thursday 23rd May 2024. The kennels could continue under a variation of the licence if you provide the signed Preventative Healthcare Plan.

If you decide to respond positively to the points raised by supplying a detailed plan of works for the cattery, the suspension could then be reviewed with a view of reinstating the licence.

Please respond, copying in Nicola Tansley and Lewis Mould, as copied into this email.

Kind Regards.

Police say if you see a dog locked in a car in case of high heat, take a picture of the dog and the car, call the police, wait 5 minutes and break the car window. This way you will not be charged with criminal damage and will give evidence to the police to take the dog owners to court.
Can anyone copy and paste this information to prevent this atrocity from happening?
The summer is coming! 🐶🐕 🐶🐕❤️🐾

This 1 year old boy is looking for a home. Loads of energy but quite well behaved and as can be seen on this video he can be let off a lead and comes back. He can jump very high though and if he gets bored he can be bit of an escape artist.

Paul O’Grady as he passes over rainbow bridge.

Unlike most days at the Rainbow Bridge, this day dawned cold and gray. All the recent arrivals at the Bridge did not know what to think, as they had never seen such a day. But the animals who had been waiting longer for their beloved people to accompany them across the Bridge knew what was happening, and they began to gather at the pathway leading to the Bridge.

Soon an elderly dog came into view, head hung low and tail dragging. He approached slowly, and though he showed no sign of injury or illness, he was in great emotional pain. Unlike the animals gathered along the pathway, he had not been restored to youth and vigor upon arriving at the Bridge. He felt out of place, and wanted only to cross over and find happiness.

But as he approached the Bridge, his way was barred by an angel, who apologized and explained that the tired and broken-spirited old dog could not cross over. Only those animals accompanied by their people were allowed to cross the Bridge. Having nobody, and with nowhere else to turn, the dog trudged into the field in front of the Bridge. There he found others like himself, elderly or infirm, sad and discouraged. Unlike the other animals waiting to cross the Bridge, these animals were not running or playing. They simply were lying in the grass, staring forlornly at the pathway across the Rainbow Bridge. The old dog took his place among them, watching the pathway and waiting, yet not knowing for what he was waiting.

One of the newer dogs at the Bridge asked a cat who had been there longer to explain what was happening. The cat replied, “Those poor animals were abandoned, turned away, or left at rescue places, but never found a home on earth. They all passed on with only the love of a rescuer to comfort them. Because they had no people to love them, they have nobody to es**rt them across the Rainbow Bridge.”

The dog asked the cat, “So what will happen to those animals?” Before the cat could answer, the clouds began to part and the cold turned to bright sunshine. The cat replied, “Watch, and you will see.”

In the distance was a single person, and as he approached the Bridge the old, infirm and sad animals in the field were bathed in a golden light. They were at once made young and healthy, and stood to see what their fate would be. The animals who had previously gathered at the pathway bowed their heads as the person approached. At each bowed head, the person offered a scratch or hug. One by one, the now youthful and healthy animals from the field fell into line behind the person. Together, they walked across the Rainbow Bridge to a future of happiness and unquestioned love. The dog asked the cat, “What just happened?”

The cat responded, “That was a rescuer. The animals gathered along the pathway bowing in respect were those who had never found forever homes. The arrival here of a rescuer is a great and solemn event, and as a tribute they are permitted to perform one final act of rescue. They are allowed to es**rt all those poor animals they couldn’t place on earth across the Rainbow Bridge.”

The dog thought for a moment, then said, “I like rescuers.” The cat smiled and replied, “So does God, my friend. So does God.
