Offering tailored massage therapy sessions and dog training sessions. Massage therapy sessions are always carried out under veterinary consent. Contact us and receive new customer forms and a veterinary consent form
2. Fill out forms and gain consent from your veterinarian

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closure of our Hydrotherapy Centre at RA Canine Therapist. Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly but we need to prioritise Rebecca’s health going forward.

All bookings with Lorna will run up to and including the 28th July 2025. Any outstanding bookings with Rebecca will be cancelled.

We want to thank each and everyone of you for being such lovely clients and both Rebecca and Lorna will miss all of you and your gorgeous dogs.

We recommend that you contact the ARU Canine Rehabilitation Clinic at Writtle to discuss your ongoing hydrotherapy requirements.

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closure of our Hydrotherapy Centre at RA Canine Therapist. Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly but we need to prioritise Rebecca’s health going forward.

We always review your dog’s clinical history and veterinary referral and will first and foremost be guided by your vet! We can then combine this, with the findings from our initial assessment to decide what is safest and most suited for your dog! We can always discuss our reasoning with you and sometimes we may even use both!

Those legs were made for swimming 😆

Muna the Italian Greyhound has amazed us with her progress over the year she has been seeing us! Her muscle mass has increased dramatically and she now maintains a beautiful swimming posture and swims so elegantly! We love seeing this beautiful girl, and seeing her leap into her Mum’s arms at the end 😆💕

Massage therapy to enhance the benefits of hydrotherapy 😍

Did you know you can add on a full massage therapy session prior to your hydrotherapy session? We will always apply massage in your dog’s rest breaks during their hydro session (if they are comfortable with this and if it’s appropriate to do so!) but a full massage session before hydrotherapy can alleviate muscular tension, enhance soft tissue flexibility and improve comfort levels, ready for their session in the water.

Myth of the week - 1 session won’t have much impact! ❌

While multiple, regular sessions over time will have the MOST benefit for your dog, research shows us that even just 1 session can improve joint range of motion and stride length. Every dog is different and one may respond much quicker to treatment than another! We will always tailor sessions to your dog 💕

We have over 15 years experience dealing with a variety of small and larger animals such as dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and horses. Has completed many IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) courses and studies with the British College of Canine Studies continually as CPD.
