I received some sad news yesterday, Barney, a lovely rabbit that I’ve been looking after for many years, has passed away.

He made it to nearly 10 years of age thanks to the amazing care his family gave him.

It was a pleasure looking after you Barney, and I hope wherever you are they have plenty of mini shredded wheat (his favourite snack) 🐇 🌈

This is Bow who is one of the cats I’m visiting at the moment.

I have quite a few British short haired cats as clients, as they are a popular breed. They have a very calm and laid back temperament and Bow is a lovely example of the breed 😻

We’ve had some newbies join us this year

Pancake, an adorable, bonkers Cockapoo (is there any other kind?) 😄

Cleo, a silver Labrador cross Beagle, really sweet and great fun, loves chasing the other dogs.

Pippa, a sweet and chilled Westie, who has gotten over her nervousness around big dogs since joining us. Brave girl.

They have been welcomed by the groups and are having a great time. ♥️

Unfortunately a sad post to start today 😞

I found out last night that the big bundle of love that was Acer passed away on Monday night. He was only 9 years old and was a picture of health, but it seems he suffered a stroke.

I’d been looking after Acer and his companion cats since 2017 and always looked forward to him pouncing on my lap for cuddles and purring like an engine.

My thoughts are with Dawn, Ian and his companions Sumo and Sumi.

I’ll miss you big lad, you were one of the best. 😿
