What an absolute little gem this boy was today, 4 months old and his first visit to a groomers, took everything in his stride even falling asleep a few times! Well done little man it’s dogs like you that make the job so much fun 🥰

‼️APPOINTMENTS FOR 2025‼️
We will have new opening hours as of January 2025, Rachel will be opening on Mondays and will also be here everyday Saturday morning, so we’ll be open 6 days a week!!

Today we have Maddi!
Maddi came to Dogs at Hart almost a year ago, when she first enquired I wasn’t sure I had the space to take her on, but I’m so glad I did as she’s been a fantastic help and she’s gaining confidence and doing more and more each week, watch this space!!

Today we have Ellie!
New Ellie as we call her 😂
I met Ellie when she was possibly 8 or 9? She’s been bringing her Shihtzu Izzie to us for years for her haircuts, I remember her telling me back then that when she’s older she wants to work at Dogs at Hart, and she definitely stuck to her word! Now qualified and learning more everyday ⭐️

Today we meet Hannah!
I met Hannah back in 2018, when thankfully she was on the lookout to rent a table at a salon, and I had dogs coming out of my ears! She swooped in and took over a large chunk of the work and is now one of our busiest groomers!

Today we have Carrie!!
I met Carrie 15 years ago at the very start of her grooming career when we both worked at the same salon.
She came to my rescue in 2018 when Nat was on maternity leave and I had millions of dogs to groom all on my own 😂 luckily I persuaded her to stay permanently!

Ellie came to Dogs at Hart 6 years ago as a very quiet school leaver, she’s now fully qualified and a pro in Asian fusion styling!

Nat joined the team back in 2014, 10 years has flown by. I met Nat back in 2005 when we both worked at the same salon, we both left there to work at other places but always stayed in contact and when I opened Dogs at Hart I always knew I’d be able to persuade her to come and work with me!

Dogs at Hart has been open for 13 years now, and we have grown in numbers to be able to keep up with the demand of grooming all your fantastic pups! We’ve decided to do a meet the team post so you can all get to know who is who and learn a little bit about us ❤️

‼️NOW TAKING ON NEW CLIENTS ‼️
We’ve had a very busy start to 2024, but going into July we have Carrie back full time, and Ellie, who has been training with us for the last two years is also joining the team ❤️ Ellie is city and guilds level 3 qualified and will be working alongside all of the team to build her confidence with all breeds, she’s been a fantastic asset to Dogs at Hart for the last two years so I can only see her going from strength to strength.
With 6 qualified and award winning groomers all under one roof, with a combined experience of over 70 years, we really can cater for any dog 🐶

If you ever come in to Dogs at Hart and the sofa looks like this, it’s because my kids have been in and their uncle Jack (who runs hamstore) has made them a den. This is Jacob and Hallie today with my newest rescue dog Betty, enjoying their secret den 😂 I think it’s safe to say Betty is probably the best dog I could have rescued to live with these kids!! ❤️🐶

🎈 HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY DOGS AT HART 🎈
12 years ago today, on my birthday, I groomed my very first dog at 13 redhills road, with this glorious queen by my side, and she’s still with me now at the grand age of 15!!
12 years has gone too fast, we’ve seen so many lovely pups in that time. Please post up a photo of your Dogs at Hart dogs in the comments, let’s see how many we can get!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fly high over that bridge little man, we’ll all miss you and your wagging tail, and even you weeing on our feet in excitement to get a haircut ❤️

Huxley having a little nap during his groom today (I wish I had turned my clippers off that I was holding 😂) This is what happens when you have your dog routinely groomed from a young age, it’s part of life and not a horrible experience. What a little star this guy is ❤️ and he’s a cocker, one of my favourites!!
