World Horse Welfare Max had his first canter under saddle this week with HE Equine Performance Science student Victoria. Max will soon be returning to World Horse Welfare where he can continue his education before being made available for rehoming. Hopefully we will be able to see him progress once he is in his new home.

Lively foal in the morning
Poor Gucci certainly seems less than impressed by her foals early morning antics! I think her face must resemble that of every sleep deprived toddler parent out there. π΄β€οΈ
Snoozing foal
Someone is chatty while they nap!
Lilly and Duke, first turn out to grass.
First time out in the field for Lilly and Duke today. Lilly has really taken to motherhood and Duke enjoyed the opportunity to stretch his legs!
Daisy Moo has been doing really well with her Young Horse production group and had a little solo hack around our equine campus and even a trot during the students last session working with her. She is becoming a lovely independent pony who enjoys getting out and about!
Well done to Tianna and Bernada who have been working with her, and especially well done to Bernada for running with a steady hand to video! ππ

Young horses hacking
Last week World Horse Welfare Max and Redwings 'Rita' Ora enjoyed a hack in the sunshine with their young horse production students. They met cars, cyclists and even another horse and rider and coped with it all very well.

Gadget getting scratches
Two year old Gadget has got life all worked out. He likes his morning routine to include his staff setting up his boudoir will a lovely comfy thick bed whilst he gets a full body scratch from third year student Bianca and does his morning yoga routine, all without even getting up. Maybe we should all be more like Gadget, he has life sorted! πππ€·ββοΈ #onlyatwrittle
Erik eating mums mane
Bunny was having a mane tidy today and Erik thought he was being very helpful!
Gadget in the field
Gadget was very sensible for his first time out on grass since last year! Thanks to World Horse Welfare Finley for being the best babysitter!
