They currently have 6 dogs of their own and in the past have owned 3 cats. They also have 3 children. They took over Farcroft with one thing in mind, how they would like their own pets to be cared for. They will try to adapt to suit their guests needs and continue to improve the facilities at Farcroft to make it more of a home from home and stress free experience. The main difference from other ke
nnels is that we have many members of staff who clean, walk and play with the pets in our care. All dogs are walked twice per day around our 4 1/2 acres of fields including a woodlands, we also offer off site 1 hour walks at additional cost with a Farcroft member of staff so that they dogs know the person who is walking them. The cats are also given a chance to come out of their pens twice a day and all 3 catteries have pet rescue plug in's to help de-stress them. All pens have cat scratchers and toys for amusement. Farcroft have 28 kennels and 25 cat pens 8 of which were built in March 2017. Farcroft holds the only 5 star rated license by Maldon Council as of 2019 for their cattery and are one of only 2 kennels in this area to hold the full 5 stars for the kennels. You can look up star ratings on Maldon Council website.
