Hurrah! Our last Good Citizen test of the summer, and huge congratulations to left to right, Lynda and Indy, Ellie and Fifi, Ben and Tiny, and Sam and Hattie. And last but certainly not least, thanks to Christine Newberry for being our examiner again. Last one of the summer Chris, you can have a rest now. We now have a winter indoors for all our lovely clients wanting to take another test to fine tune the progress they are making.
And those that don't want to take any tests to just continue to build the teamwork with their dogs!

And another test bites the dust! Big congratulations to: left to right Rick and Loki, Tina and Chester, Jo and Winnie , Laura and Boudicca, Bonnie and Biscuit, Louis and Holly with Pocket , and Lisa and James with Lily on passing their GCDS Silver award tonight, almost without rain! And many thanks to Christine Newberry for coming to be our examiner again, without an examiner we couldn't hold test nights. Well done everyone! 👏👏👏😊

Let's be honest here, the Kennel Club GCDS Gold Award is not a walk in the park. It requires a lot of control, and even more teamwork. So huge, huge congratulations to l to r, Carolyn and Willow, Richard and Mabel, Mark and Arthur, Aaron and Ulu, and Sarah and Kobi, who didn't let the rain disrupt them, and all achieved Gold. 🥳 Thanks as always to Christine Newberry for being our examiner in the rain, and also to BFC for letting us use the enclosed pitch!

Congratulations to L/R, Katie and Cora, Sue and Eva, Renate and Cailey, Marie and Willow and Kate and Bear for passing their GCDS KC Bronze award. It takes effort to train a dog, and that really showed tonight, well done! And a huge thank you to our Examiner, Christine Newberry, for coming out in the not too tropical weather!

Our first night outside training tonight. And of course it rained! Well done to all who came and had a great night training. And apparently the Met Office say this is British Summer Time, so hopefully nicer evenings to come. Well the Met Office have to be right sometime. Don't they? 😂😂😎

And so this is Christmas, another year done. OK, not quite the lyrics, but you get the gist.
Hope everyone enjoyed our last festive classes tonight. It's been a year of( some very wet!) Bronze tests, some sunny Silvers, some drenching, some roasting, and loads of fun with our lessons!
So from the trainers at Team Up we wish all our clients a very happy festive season, and a happy and healthy 2024, we'll see you on the 9th January! 😊🌲🎅

Just had a count up, and we've had 111 puppies go through the Kennel Club puppy Foundation course since 2019!!!

Hope they're all fantastic, happy, well trained dogs with a great bond with their owners. That's what we aim for!

Big congratulations to our latest KC Puppy Foundation training passes, great work guys. You have done, as it says on the title, the most important part. When you get to your pups teenage phase, this foundation work will eventually see you through. So sorry that because of a tragic incident in Broomfield some of you were unable to get to us tonight.
Don't worry, as you are all coming to the next progression course, your certificates and your onward journey are waiting! And who knows, Coral may even get you in the frame! 👏👏👏

One of our advanced classes practicing their real life stays, while they leave their dogs in a steady position, and go to the help of Robyn, doing rather a good job of being a medical emergency! It's important that when we teach our dogs to be comfortable in their stay positions that we gradually introduce lots of distractions!

Our puppy graduates have now started working towards their Bronze award. Here's Buddy last night demonstrating that he's getting more confident with his Stay. Fabulous work Buddy and of course Graham 😁

2nd week of this puppy course, and so proud of what these guys have achieved! Do we have an addition to our next summers demo team? 🤔 Well done for your 1st 2 weeks guys! 👏👏👏

Let's hope the weather is as good tomorrow as it was a couple of weeks ago! 🤞
