We are looking for an experienced salesperson with good horse knowledge to work in our busy saddlery section.
Ingatestone Saddlery Centre is one of the leading country and equestrian stores, based in Ingatestone catering for all things horse and rider. We are seeking a new member to join our saddlery team.
Responsibilities
• Serving and assisting customers
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Replenishing stock
• Shop displays and merchandising
• Handling telephone calls and queries
• Stock counting and organising
About you
• You will be passionate about retail and providing excellent customer service
• Have good horse knowledge and be eager to learn
• Considerable amount of experience in retail or a similar role
• Punctual, reliable and be flexible
• A friendly, positive and enthusiastic, career focused attitude
• Ideally to have proven sales skills in a customer driven environment
• Happy to work using your own initiative and as part of a team
Benefits
• Friendly working environment
• Employee Discount scheme
• Competitive rate of pay
• Free staff parking
• 28 days holiday
• In house training and opportunities to gain qualifications

This is a full-time role working alternate weekends.

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our saddlery team.
This is a varied role which includes serving customers in a friendly, welcoming manner in our store.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person with a can-do attitude, who enjoys working with people. Equestrian knowledge is essential, and you should be eager to learn.

This is a part time role working 3-4 days to include either every Saturday or every Sunday.
Benefits include free parking on-site, employee discount scheme as well as good rate of pay.

🐴Play music on the radio to help mask noise (classical is best)
🐴Feed a calmer to help combat anxiety
🐴If stabled offer a treat ball or hang treats to help distract
🐴If you are concerned stay with your horse or do regular checks

Looking for a new riding hat, body protector or air jacket? We have fully trained staff in-store 7 days a week.

All our staff at Ingatestone Saddlery have their own qualities and experience which is why, as a store we can offer you advice on a huge range of products as there is always someone on hand who is not only trained in what the product does and how to use it, they also have often used the products themselves. Whilst we do not sell wormers online, we always have an AMTRA SQP (Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority Suitably Qualified Person) in-store which allows us to sell wormers 7 days a week.
