Friday looked like this; sunshine, playtime, splashes in the stream and more glorious walks into the woods, Dolly kisses on my front seat, a sleepy Nell on my front seat after 2 big walks today, Rex’s very handsome fresh groom thanks to , Seve forever finding the biggest stick/log/trunk of a tree he can and all in a days work 😮💨

‘Auntie Lydia’ was running a bit behind today as she was stuck in road works and temporary traffic lights for a long time but her two children (as she likes to refer to these two as) were waiting ever so patiently for her to arrive 🥹
…After texting Buddy and Cleo’s mums to say I was running behind, I receive these two photos straight away; Buddy looking out the window for me as always and Cleo with her eyes on the door, listening out for my van and a message saying “don’t worry, we’re just here waiting patiently ☺️” . I love that my customers are like this 🥰
Thursday looked like this; lots of waggy tails, smiley faces, plenty of sniffs, lots of splash’s, freshly cut grass paths, a bucket full of sunshine, a happy dog walker and even happier dogs! 🌞🐾🐶💦

This will never not bring me joy to watch 🐾 The excitement the dogs get when I open this gate and they rush through in case they miss out on something. Happy 2 year anniversary to the business ! Can’t quite believe where 2 years has gone, but it’s been another BUSY year and I’ve watched my little business grow from strength to strength and become a totally brilliant, fun and fantastic place to work every single day. I truly have the best extended family; both customers and their dogs and I feel blessed that I get to do this every day and call this “work”. The dogs live their best lives, running free and playing with their mates all in the heart of the countryside in the best place I could ask for. Each and every one of my dogs has their own way, a different way, of showing or telling me just how excited they are that I’ve turned up to walk them…. Some burst out the front door and run to my van, others grab the nearest object they can find and bring it to me in excitement. Some recognise my engine and hear my van pull up and bark or run to the window. Others are already waiting at the window!! Some wait patiently in their beds for me to come and find them but are silently wagging their tails so frantically and others like Teddy here, however little, make so much noise in excitement that o swear the neighbours must think I’m breaking in 😂 These are all true stories and actually, picking up my dogs for their walks, is one of my absolute favourite things - seeing how they express love and excitement in their own ways 🥰 Enjoy this video of how it always is when I pick Teddy up for walks 😂🐶
