Just had the best week ever Ned sitting in South Wales! Had some great beach and hill walks. Such a lovely boy….who can be a little stubborn at times! We definitely both burned a few calories …. Although I was able to balance mine with cakes and ice cream … lol!

We’ve had the most amazing time at Acorn Cottage looking after these two adorable furry friends! Lots of walks and cuddles…and they are sooooo cute!

I’m going to miss these two beautiful boys! George and Jobie have had a great time at Acorn Cottage. We’ve had the best weather… and the paddling pool out! Lots of early morning walks to avoid the heat… such beautiful views and nature at her best!

Who doesn’t love a Golden Retriever!?! The gentle Milo was back at Acorn Cottage last week for his holidays. He is such a lovely boy. We had lots of field walks and cuddles.

We had the beautiful Mushu to visit this weekend… there was a lot of sleeping(and snoring!) and basking in the sunshine… perfect for a bank holiday weekend! (Lots of walks in the muddy fields as well… lol!)

The gorgeous Baxter had been back to Acorn Cottage for a few weeks. We’ve had some great ball play in the park and lovely afternoon strolls across the fields. It’s been lovely having a collie back in the house! He’s such a gentleman.

A little bit of good news this week…. Acorn Cottage Dog Boarding and Walking has just had its licence renewed with Cheltenham BC! ( We have to have an inspection every few years to ensure we are safe to look after our furry companions) We now have a 5 star rating and are licensed until 24April 2027.

A big thank you to all of you who have stayed at Acorn Cottage over the last two years… we hope to see you again in the future! ( On that note we are currently taking bookings from March 2025 onwards….)

George and Jobey came to Acorn Cottage this week for their trial session ahead of their summer holibobs. We had a couple of rain free walks …….so looking forward to dry fields and summer sunshine and seeing these two gentlemen again!

The beautiful Mylo and Nellie have been back to Acorn Cottage this week for their holidays…. We’ve had a great week playing in the mud and “rivers” that appear to have sprung up everywhere… lol! Fingers crossed for a dry spell soon….

It has been wonderful to spend Christmas and the New Year with the adorable Bella again. She has been such a wonderful houseguest…. And the most cuddliest dog! Happy new year everyone!
