Ahhh Pog. Slow strokes and a calming of the nervous system is all that was needed.

Does life get any better?

Join me on a ramble during a walk. Pondering about treading the same path as many of my clients. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Pog was very car sick for a while when I got him, and although now travels well he never wants to get in the van, and will bark a lot if left while I nip onto a shop.

We have been working hard on different types of connection with him in and around the van. This is the co exploring for treats with lyns connection being involved in that search with him, is much higher reward to him than the food on its own.

Calming connection our long slow strokes and safety touch while lead in the van with him are also being worked on X

Olive’s living her best sandpit life while Pog supervises like a true big sibling. 🐶🏖️ Some dig, some watch, and some just wait for the chaos to unfold!

Who else has a dog that loves getting sandy? 😂

Winnie’s next puppy groom and she’s taking it all in like a little champ! 🐶✨ Getting used to the dryers, having plenty of cuddles, and making sure the salon feels like a safe, happy place.

Puppy grooms are all about building confidence—one snuggle at a time! 🛁💕

Pog’s energy is contagious! 🐾💨

Co-regulation isn’t just about calming down—it’s about meeting your dog where they are, building connection through play, and guiding them back to balance. Tuning into each other’s emotions strengthens trust and deepens the bond.

Who else has a dog that brings the energy before settling into calm? 🐶✨

Regulating nervous systems through play and pause. Dogs are not born with the ability to manage this themselves. They learn it through us, and it's so important to experience this together.

Taking our time with a comb through on the table. Pog's so chill he almost falls asleep 🤭
