Christmas dinner! 🎅🏼

Behind the scenes the care of our ponies doesn’t stop just because they’re on holiday. We go every day to take them hay, feed them and check under their rugs. Our school ponies are very much VIPs here and we think they deserve the best care possible so when you play at Longdole you can rest assured that the ponies you ride are happy and well looked after! 🥰

As we say a fond farewell to 2024 we look forward to what 2025 will bring!

In just a few days our wonderful school ponies will come back into work and we plan to resume Academy chukkas Friday 10th Jan. We have lots of space for individual or group lessons 11th/12th Jan if you feel you need a refresher or if you are new to polo and would like to join us

We have some exciting plans for 2025 that we hope to announce very soon 😊

We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!

Self contained barn with 14 stables, own tack room, storage barn, paddock for turnout and use of 15 well built metal corales. Built for Polo but would suit other disciplines.

Olympic 100x50 arena, smaller schooling arena, round pen and three polo pitches on site. Ideal facilities for bringing on young horses and excellent hacking through miserden park on your doorstep. DM or contact [email protected] for more information

Today marked the start of the VL 6 Goal winter super league series which was generously sponsored by so big thanks to Rich & Gwyn for providing the prizes

The home team clinched a narrow victory from a long range backhand 2 pointer goal by finishing up 9-11

Exciting opportunity!

After two years our wonderful school groom is leaving to go back to Scotland so we are looking for someone to join our team!
-All year round, ideally looking for another person to stay long term
-PAYE available if wanted with paid holidays and all benefits etc
- Kind and easy school ponies, and you wont be expected to look after too many!
-On site accomodation available (lovely little cottage, no caravans!)
-Can do 5 or 6 days a week
-Good rates of pay

The ideal candidate should be self motivated and happy to take on the responsibility of organising ponies for lessons as well as being passionate about the welfare of our lovely school ponies.

-Horses prepped to a high standard so you can just turn up and play
-Olympic size arena (plus smaller ménage, round pen and all necessary facilities)
-Modern, fully licensed clubhouse
-Weekend matches and weekday chukkas
-On site hpa instructors for coaching
*Rehabilitation livery*
-Run by an experienced equine vet with qualifications in animal chiropractic and acupuncture
-Bespoke rehabilitation programmes working with your vet
*Young horse livery*
-Experienced, professional riders on site with years of experience making and finishing young horses for polo
*DIY livery*
-DIY livery with individual turnout also available with access to all facilities and beautiful hacking

Meet the team:
We are very excited to welcome the handsome Trompo to our school pony family. Originally from Argentina, 10 year old Trompo is a big strong boy but with plenty of speed and handle. We think you’re going to love him as much as we do! 🥰🐮
