We’ve had an issue with the phone provider this afternoon, so have been unable to respond to calls, messages or texts. We’re hoping things will be back to normal tomorrow. In the meantime you can always drop us a Facebook message or email.
Our ‘Festive Fragrances’ have arrived; Cinnamon Sugar, Sugar Plum Pie and Winter Walks.
The salon smells very Christmassy

We have people ‘no show’ to their appointments everyday this week.
We are fully booked until January, and we do have a cancellation list with people who have booked their Christmas groom and then made plans and either want to move it earlier or later.
All our appointments are tight, so to give people 30 mins to get here means we can’t often fill them at short notice.
If you need to cancel or change your groom, please let us know, so we can do our best to move things around.

The boys have been busy today, and laid some artificial grass on the path, to stop all your pampered pooches getting mucky on the way out as the weather changes.
It’s a bit warm out there! 🥵
This was the temperature in roof of the salon today. Without any dryers or air con on; the fan will bring it down but not much. So generating any extra heat is not ideal 🤣🤣
We hope you all are managing to stay cool.
We’ll see you on Wednesday when it should be more manageable!
Next week is set to be another scorcher and we have rearranged appointments where necessary.

We’ve closed salon early today, and will again tomorrow and the salon will be shut completely on Friday. We’ve contacted everyone who was booked in to reschedule, and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

We would like to thank everyone for all the support, but unless you are already on our books we won’t be booking appointments.
We will review this policy as and when availability improves.

We understand it’s the holidays and your plans can change from when you booked your appointment a few weeks ago; but we are booking into May and have a cancellation list with about 20 names on it; that we could have the opportunity to book in, if we’re given notice that you can’t make it.
All our appointments are tight, so to give people 30 mins to get here means we can’t often fill them at short notice.
A few bits of house keeping.
We are switching phone providers so to avoid missing any messages, we will be turning off the answer machine tomorrow and switching it back on hopefully Monday morning. Sarah will be answering the phone and any voicemails, Facebook messages or emails on Monday as usual.
Secondly we are really busy at the moment, our next available appointment is 4 weeks away. We would ask any customers to book their next groom when they leave their current one; or give us as much notice as possible to get you booked back in.
The weather will (hopefully) be getting warmer and if it’s really warm we can only really do the mornings for health and safety reasons, so please be mindful if your dog suffers in the heat.
Beautiful Betty came in to see us last week, here she is sharing a joke with her dad Peter when she got home - probably one of the dodgy Christmas Cracker Jokes that have been telling!
Christmas has arrived in the salon; how comfy does Winston look in front of our tree? All he needs is an armchair and open fire and he’ll be living his best life.
Look at gorgeous Paddy who came into see us this week; isn’t he just beautiful!
Appointment Update.
We have a few spaces left this week and the beginning of next week, with 2 appointments on Dec 4, one with Libby and one with Jess
There’s a few spaces in the weeks after.
Libby is pretty much fully booked except for one appointment on Dec 23rd.
Please don’t leave it until the last minute.
We reopen after Christmas on Dec 28th but are closed on Sat 1st Jan
We received some more sad news today.
We’ve lost Angel, a beautiful cuddly Newfoundland. She was a lovely girl.
Our thoughts and love go out to her family 💔❤️
We’ve lost a couple of dogs over the last couple of weeks.
Benji a gentle cocker and Raven just a puppy.

We are getting very booked up for Christmas;
Libby is fully booked Christmas week, except for a bath on Christmas Eve, breed dependent.
Her latest appointment is Dec 9th.
Jessica has some availability for baths on Christmas Eve, and has space for grooms on Tues Dec 14th, there is also some availability the week before.
Tammy has space for a bath on Christmas Eve, with availability on Dec 16 and 17th, and also the week before.
There are not many opportunities left now. Please don’t leave it until the last minute.
Granny and Cookie, two Pomeranian came to see us yesterday. It wasn’t long before cheeky Cookie needed another bath 😂

He was so lovely…….
Lovely Winston a miniature dachshund puppy came into see us after his ‘puppy pamper’ at Absolutely Furbulous at the weekend. All we heard was ‘ahhh’ ‘ooh’ as he wandered round the shop that we had to ‘steal’ him for a cuddle and a photo. 😍
Everyone loves a shaggy dog story, and we’re no different here at the salon!
But what a transformation Bella had this week after her handstrip with Jess. 🐶
We know it’s a little early to start thinking about Christmas, but it’s only a couple of grooms away.
Please think about booking your appointments as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, as we are getting booked up.
