Two runners at evening meetings today.

Uttoxeter

6.00 - Bagheera Ginge
Made a promising racecourse debut in early June when 3rd over todays course and distance, staying on despite a mistake two out. Will have learned a lot from the experience and with plenty to come, can be a threat to all here. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

Ffos Las

8.50 - Supakalanistic
Steps up 4f from his last flat run over 1m 4f at Haydock when 6th of 7 from a mark of 75. Down a further 5lbs here and down to a class 5 event, (has been in class 3 & 4 in recent runs) can see him in with a decent each way chance, despite still going from top weight. Liam Keniry rides.

17/06/2022

Back to “business as usual” today and one runner at Market Rasen, where Time To Believe runs in the 2.10, a 2m 7f class 4 novices hurdle.

Makes his hurdles debut after two bumpers the latest three weeks ago. Expected to show improvement for both trip and obstacles, a good run expected, Finn Lambert rides and claims 7lbs.

16/06/2022

One runner today on the flat, but great to have Earlofthecotswolds running in the Ascot Gold Cup at 4.20, a group 1 race over 2m 4f.
Has won his last three races on the all-weather flat, the latest at Newcastle when making all over 2m in the champions race two months ago.
Obviously this is a different level, but he deserves to take his chance, will be suited by the longer trip and will do himself justice. Very hopeful of making the prize money, we’ll enjoy the day and give it our best with a good run expected. Liam Keniry rides.

One runner at Stratford today, where Rizzardo runs in the 4.30, a 2m 6+f handicap chase, with Sam Twiston-Davies riding.

Was 4th of 5 four weeks ago over 2m 3f at Market Rasen and down 3lbs to a mark of 100, also 3lbs below his last winning mark, can see him go close stepped up in trip.

A good run expected.

One runner on the flat at Haydock where Supakalanistic runs in the 1.10, a 1m 3+f class 5 apprentice handicap.

Hasn’t been out since January when last of 5 over a similar trip at Lingfield, but has gone well fresh in the past and has decent hurdles form and a good dual purpose sort. Expected to go well.

Liam Browne takes the ride.

04/06/2022

One runner again today with Uncle Arthur going to Worcester for the 2.55 , his second bumper, partnered with Sam Twiston-Davies.
Third on his debut over course and distance last month, he learned a lot that day and has come on for the run, so very hopeful that he can come out on top today.

03/06/2022

One runner today with Bomber’s Moon going to Huntingdon for the 1.00, a 3m 1f class 5 Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle.

Went well in a similar event at Hereford in November to take second spot from a mark of 85, but then had a couple of unsuccessful chase outings at Wincanton in December. Has been off since, returns fresh 2lbs higher and the return to hurdles can help.

Finn Lambert rides and claims 8lbs.

Fontwell Goa Lil Uttoxeter Torpillo

Two runners today…

Fontwell

3.14 Goa Lil
Runs in the 2m 2f handicap chase, meeting just three rivals. A course and distance winner in March from a mark of 127 on similar good ground, he’s had a couple of outings since in small fields on higher marks without success. Down to 125 today can see him with a good opportunity if holding his jumping together. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

Uttoxeter

3.31 Torpillo
Goes in the 2m 4f handicap chase. Also a winner in March two outings ago over 2m at Wincanton, he went up 6lbs to 140 next time when running a little flat at Cheltenham over a similar trip as today. Gets a pound back here and a return to the form of the Wincanton run would see him go close despite being top weight. Daryl Jacob rides and the pair have each way chances.

27/05/2022

One runner again today with Season In The Sun going to Chepstow on the flat for the 4.50, a 1m 2f class 5 stakes race.

Although his flat debut, expected to go much better than the morning odds suggest.

Liam Keniry rides.

25/05/2022

Warwick Time To Believe

One runner at Warwick today where Time To Believe makes his debut for us in the bumper at 8.10.

Has joined us from Fergal O’Brien where he had a bumper run in July last year, running in to 5th place of 8 over todays course and distance.

Has come on since then, a good run expected, Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

23/05/2022

One runner today at the Huntingdon evening meeting, where Nye Bevan runs in the 7.20, a 2m class 4 handicap hurdle.
Won very nicely looking like having plenty in hand three weeks ago at Warwick over 2m. On a mark of 101 that day, he’s up 7lbs but looks capable of coping with that and on similar ground, is expected to go very well again. Tom Bellamy continues the partnership.

22/05/2022

One runner again today with Topofthecotswolds going to Fakenham for the 4.25, a 2m 5f class 3 handicap chase.
Hasn’t been out since early February when last of 6 at Taunton, but has gone well before when coming back after some time off. Down 4lbs to 122, his last win was from 130, he’s on his lowest mark for nearly three years and hopeful of being able to take advantage on the good ground. Tom Bellamy rides.

21/05/2022

One runner today with Templehills going to Stratford for the 8.00 this evening, a 3m 3+f class 3 handicap chase. Took a fall here last time, but previously won here in October over 2m 5+f from a mark of 117. On 120 today, enjoys this track and good ground and expected to go well. Finn Lambert rides and takes off 7lbs.

Market Rasen Rizzardo & Townshend
ℹ️ https://bit.ly/3NtMqkN

Two runners at Market Rasen today, both with Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.

3.10 - Rizzardo
Drops back a furlong to 2m 3f from his last three runs, but also finds himself back on a mark of 103, from which he won from at Fontwell in November over 2m 5+f. Suited by the good ground, should go well and another good run expected.

3.40 - Townshend
Hasn't run since last July, but comes back 8lbs better off on 108 than his last appearance when pulled up over 2m 5+f at this course. Last won just over 2 years ago at Ascot when on 136, but up in trip to 3m 3f today and fresh after the break, can see him more competitive with each way chances.

Stratford Templehills & The Kniphand
https://bit.ly/3yU3KLN

Two runners go to Stratford today.

4.22 - Templehills
Won over course and distance back in October from a mark of 117, staying on nicely in a similar class 4 event. A rise of 4lbs in a class 3 and shorter trip at Wetherby a few weeks later saw him down the field, but a good break since sees him return fresh. Enjoys it here and down a pound and the 5lb claim from Jack Savage, can help get him involved against just four rivals. Can go close.

4.52 - The Kniphand
Went very well to take second, beaten just a neck on bumper debut at Bangor five weeks ago. Learned a lot that day and stayed on well. Looks sure to show improvement and very hopeful of going one better. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

Uttoxeter Tigers Roar Cossack Dancer

Two runners at Uttoxeter’s evening meeting today.

5.50 - Tigers Roar
Makes his chasing debut after four hurdles outings where he showed some promise. He is however a former point winner in Ireland, so chasing looks likely to bring out some more from him. Should be suited by the 2m 6+f and good ground and could be good each way value. Jordan Nailor rides and claims 3lbs.

7.20 - Cossack Dancer
Joined us in early April from the Oliver Sherwood yard and made his stable debut a week later in a 2m 4+f handicap hurdle at Southwell. Didn’t go particularly well that day, but from a mark of 99 and with headgear on is expected to show a good degree of improvement upped in trip to just short of 3m. Jordan rides, 3lbs off.

Four runners at Worcester Racecourse today, where we run two in each of two bumper races.

Worcester 2.15

Awesome Foursome (5yo) Dam was hurdles winner over around 2m 4f and has been pleasing at home, may need step up in trip in time to that trip instead of todays 2m. Jack Savage rides and claims 5lbs.

Uncle Arthur is a 4yo brother to Awesome Foursome, similar credentials, not much between them, but may be a little more forward. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

Worcester 2.50

King Of Quinta has had a run at Doncaster back in November, when 7th of 9 over 1m 5f, going well in front tank until fading in the latter stages. Will appreciate stepping up to 2m. Jordan Nailor rides.

Private Pike is Out of a 2m 3f hurdles winner, so may need further in time, but has shown enough to suggest a good debut to come. Nico de Boinville takes the ride.

Haydock & Warwick Evening Meeting

One runner this afternoon at Haydock and two at Warwick for their evening meeting.

Haydock

2.25 - One True King
Won last time at Market Rasen when back over hurdles and stepped up in trip to 2m 7f after a few unsuccessful chases. Had won over fences over 2m at Sandown in early December from 126 and maybe didn’t cope with the rise after. The hurdles seemed to refresh and another big effort expected here 2lbs up, will appreciate the good to soft ground. Sam Twiston-Davies aboard and each way hopes.

Warwick

7.20 - Super Six
Is another that won last time out, in a novice hurdle at Market Rasen at the end of March. Goes over a similar trip of 2m 3f today in a class 3 handicap, still on a decent mark of 124. Runner up two runs ago on his handicap bow, he’s progressing now with more to come and can again go close. Jordan Nailor rides and claims 3lbs.

8.20 - Safe Destination
Makes his rules debut in this bumper having joined us after taking third place in an Irish point in February. May need some time yet and looks to be a promising recruit, but very hopeful of a good run here. Jordan rides.

One runner at Worcester today, where Onchan goes in the 2.23, a 2m 7f novices handicap chase, with Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle.

Just four runners due to go to post, but it looks a competitive race all the same. The form of his win at Market Rasen looks particular solid when on a mark of 103, then up 7lbs didn’t have the best of runs when losing a shoe last time at Southwell.

Can go very well from the same mark and capable of returning to the winners enclosure.

Has been off since last July, but went well this time last year with a couple of wins including one over course and distance from a mark of 100. Went up 5lbs after that, but back to 101 here can see him in the shake up with good each way chances.

Sam Twiston-Davies rides, very hopeful of a good start to the new season.

5.10 - Don’t Tell David
Makes his racecourse debut in this 2m bumper having shown he’s ready at home. Our bumper runners have gone well this season and hopeful that he can continue that with a nice debut. Likely to need a trip in time but should go well. Sam rides.

Newton Abbot & Haydock Park

Two go to Newton Abbot and one to Haydock today.

Newton Abbot

3.24 - Summit Like Herbie
Won over todays trip of 3m 2f at Doncaster in November from a mark of 98, then runner-up upped in trip at Fakenham on New Year’s Day. Has had a couple of outings since, failing to complete at Ffos Las and Chepstow latest, where he unseated going well at the time. This trip and ground suits and though from top weight, is within a couple of pounds of that last winning mark and can prove good each way value. Jordan Nailor rides and takes off 3lbs.

4.35 - Noble Savage
Still a maiden after 11 outings but has gone close on a few occasions, notably at Lingfield and Wincanton earlier this season when taking the runners up spot. Has been tried up in trip a couple of times and showed some positive signs at Chepstow a couple of weeks ago with a 5th of 12 finish. Down to a mark of 98 and back to 2m 1f today, Jordan takes off a further 3lbs, hopeful of building on that last run, can make the places.

Haydock

5.01 - Vienna Court
Has progressed very nicely this season taking her rating from 123 to a high of 143 with some very good performances, notably her two wins at Cheltenham in December and January. Maybe the rise took its toll next time when runner up at Huntingdon, and she didn’t get the best of runs at Cheltenham last time, badly hampered twice. Down a few pounds to 140 today, she still gives weight to all her rivals, but the 2m 5+ on this good to soft surface will suit and she can again go very well. Sam Twiston-Davies rides.

Four runners at Cheltenham and two at Southwell today.

Cheltenham
2.05 - Torpillo
Won three weeks ago at Wincanton when on a handy mark of 134. He’s up 6lbs today, but a step up in trip from 2m to 2m 4+f is expected to be in his favour and can bring out some more. A good run expected with each way prospects, Daryl Jacob rides.

3.50 - Undersupervision
Won nicely at Doncaster in early March over 3m 2f on soft ground from a mark of 132. Is up 4lb for that but looks very much in keeping with his progress. Goes over the same trip today on good ground and another good run can be expected. Sam Twiston-Davies aboard.

4.25 - Wholestone
Was pulled up last time in the Midlands National at Uttoxeter, but had previously won a good hurdles event at Haydock over 3m in February. Returns to hurdles here 4lbs higher than the Haydock win now on 146, still looks a fair mark and has each way chances. Daryl rides.

5.00 - Lord Of Cheshire
Won his maiden at Ludlow over 2m in February and followed that up with a win on his handicap debut at Wincanton three weeks ago from a mark of 114. Up 6lbs, he’s making nice progress and has a good chance of continuing the good work over a furlong further. Finn Lambert rides and claims 7lbs.

Southwell
4.55 - Onchan
Another who won over fences last time out, staying on nicely over 2m 5+f at Market Rasen. Is up 7lbs to 110 (still 10lb shy of his hurdles rating) but the step up to 3m should be in his favour and has another good opportunity here. Jordan Nailor in the saddle, takes off 3lbs.

7.30 - Cossack Dancer
Has joined us from the Oliver Sherwood yard where he ran some good races to be placed a couple of times. Had a wind op just before coming to us and hopeful that the change of scenery will help. Continues over 2m 4+f and from a mark of 99, looks fairly treated. Jordan rides and takes off 3lbs in this conditionals race. A good run expected.

One runner at Wincanton today, where One Forty Seven contests the 2.40, a 3m 1f class 4 handicap chase, partnered with Jordan Nailor.

Won at Stratford on good ground in October from a mark of 120, then up a couple of pounds went well at Cheltenham to be 5th of 13 in a class 3 over 3m 1f. Has had three runs since, not showing the same form, but now finds himself down to 113. Must be in with a chance under these terms, suited by trip and ground and Jordan takes off a further 3lbs.

A good run expected.
