How do I arrange a Wagging Tails holiday for your dog? 🐶

1) Contact me with your holiday dates and we will have a chat about your dog and their routine
2) I will see if I have a carer available who is a good match for your dog
3) Complete a booking form and pay 25% deposit to secure your dates
4) You can arrange a 'sniffing out meeting' with the carer
5) If the match is good and both sides are happy you can relax and start looking forward to your own holiday! ⛱

Why become a Wagging Tails Carer? 🐾🐾

Let's hear from my very first Carer:

"I became a Wagging Tails Carer a few months after losing my Jack Russell of 13 years, which I found quite traumatic as losing any dog is. I had taken early retirement and, as I live on my own, I was planning to spend more time just enjoying his company.

After seeing an advert for being a Wagging Tails Carer and not feeling ready to get another dog just then, I decided to apply and give it a go for a short while. That was 7 years ago and I’m still doing it!"

Why Wagging Tails?

I chose Wagging Tails as my new career as dogs and their welfare have always been at the heart of our business. We only ever board dogs from one family at a time - we never mix dogs from different families. This means we can keep closely to your dog's own routine and they are less stressed being away from home. This will give you peace of mind to enjoy your own holiday knowing your dog is happy and relaxed while you are away.

Have you ever had a change of career? If so, what are you doing now?

Here are me and Brea at one of our first shows with Wagging Tails. I had been a teacher for nineteen years when I left London and moved to Cheltenham. I knew I would probably do something with children or animals and was very happy when I found the Wagging Tails franchise. We are now in our seventh year of running Wagging Tails Gloucestershire and a lot has changed.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

At Wagging Tails GL Postcode we are celebrating seven years offering home from home holidays for lovely dogs across Gloucestershire. It has been a wonderful seven years and we love working with you all.

It is always nice to welcome new dogs and owners to the ‘family’ but it is great that we have many of the same dogs (or their doggie siblings) still holidaying with us seven years on!

Of course, Wagging Tails would be nothing without the fantastic carers who look after your dogs, as if they were their own, while you are away. Thank you very much to them and in particular those who have been on the journey with me and Brea since the beginning. These photos were taken during our first week with Wagging Tails, in 2016!
