This is how we do gates!
Its really important that your dog doesn’t rush or barge through gateways & doors. Mostly we know what is going to be on the other side, however sometimes we don’t and you wouldn’t want your dog rushing through to a potentially unsafe situation on the other side. It also keeps everyone calm as if they rush through charged with excitement for a walk it can lead to injuries (you or them) and excitement being beyond the threshold when they can listen to you. Its a relatively easy thing to train but can make such a difference!
